About Erwood Station Craft Centre, Gallery & Tea Rooms

Erwood Station Craft Centre and Gallery & tea rooms, a centre of local excellence. Open 7 days a week, Feb 13th - Dec 24th - Free entry! Enjoy the best of Mid Wales' arts housed in an old railway station - complete with GWR carriage galleries and newly restored 1939 Fowler 0-6-0 Diesel Locomotive. The signal-box doubles as a bird hide, with information about Radnorshire Wildlife Trust. The craft centre is managed by Business Wales mentor Michael Cunningham. There are artist demonstrations, family workshops and live music as well as walks, talks and book signings intermittently throughout the year. No visit to Mid Wales and the borders could be complete without experiencing this ‘Aladdin's cave'! We now support over 100 talented artists and crafts people. Enjoy original, interesting and exciting crafts, all made in Wales. It's quietly peaceful in the week but it becomes busy and vibrant at weekends. Erwood Station Craft Centre is proud of its status as a Green Tourism Board Scheme accredited attraction and we are committed to creating a sustainable and responsible business. You can view our Environmental Policy here. We have also been awarded the official attraction status by the Welsh Assembly Government.
