Decent room but looking a little faded in places (such as the bathroom), especially for the price. Bar was quite rowdy and seems to attract the local heavy drinkers on a Saturday night, good for a session on the beers but there are alternatives locally for those that want a quieter pint and quality meal.

Lovely cute pub in little village. Really nice friendly atmosphere, with good front of house service... Even a menu offered for your babies with 4 paws! However, three of us ordered on 2 orders (I paid for my own and my sister's meal, my other sister paid for her own). We ordered within 30 seconds of each other. My sister who paid for her own meal - her food was brought out nearly 20 minutes before mine and my little sister's. Could the first meal not have been kept warm? Or cooked later? Not good for one customer to be finishing a meal as others on the same table are starting!!

We were made to feel so welcome after an horrendous ordeal with two well known booking companies. It was late at night and we turned up as we had rejected a filthy cottage further on on Friday night and also let down on a booking with somebody else on the off chance we called in. It was about 10.30 pm and all I can say is fabulous, we would of had to of spent the night in the car if it was not for the kindness and hospitality of the fairy falls. Nothing negative can be said what so ever. The breakfast was exceptionally nice and in the village a lovely butcher/ grocery shop with goodies and scrummy cakes.

Ask in the pub for local activies and attractions and also how to get to the fairy water fall a short stroll from the pub and well worth a visit and glance over the valley.

Thank you fairy falls for taking in weary travellers who had driven 4 hours with nowhere to go and looking after us, we will be booking again with you.

Good alternative to other nearby towns in turism season. The hotel is quiet in the winter but has a good location. Walk paths available nearby.
