Visited here last night to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. As there were 25 of us coming we pre booked. The service was brilliant, the food all came out at the same time and all the orders were correct and cooked how asked for, even though there were 25 of us. The serving staff were friendly and accomodating to the younger ones. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were very big. The only downside was, because the portion sizes were so big i didn't have room to finish my huge!desert lol. Even then the waitress packed it up for me to take home. Thankyou so much everyone, my parents had a lovely evening. They enjoyed it so much they came back for lunch today

User

Food is amazing. So much choice and very reasonably priced. Desserts to absolutely die for. Love that you can 'takeaway' your afters in a provided box...seriously you'll need to...they're huge!! Friendly, welcoming, polite staff. Quiz night on a Monday is a blast...If you haven't been...go! Can't fault Cedar Tree Farm at all. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

User

Went yesterday for Easter Sunday. We booked it as we thought it was going to be busy. Well it was pretty quiet when we got there. Amazing food as always will defiantly be coming again. The portion sizes were huge

User

Was there on Sunday May 28th there were 7 if us and we all enjoyed the food. Desserts were amazing too .good choice on their menu ,we will eat here again .

User

OK but I really think you need to chose your times. If not too busy, and veg just come out, you can be really lucky and have a fab meal. Sometimes though, vegetables have clearly been hanging around too long, and what I have seen once or twice is fresh veggies coming out of the kitchen, or from warmers underneath, and being put on top of veggies that have been there too long... not good!!?

User

Had a meal Friday night, enjoyed it, nice and clean, friendly staff, very helpful,my meal was spot on, my partners, and daughters meal.was good and so was our friends, would have given a definite 5, but for the chips being warm and not hot,but not enough to stop us going there again.

User

First visit to Cedar Tree Farm but really impressed, the Carvery is very good value for money and the kids area is great, staff are very friendly and attentive, dessert choice was amazing and had the 3 scoop ice cream... gorgeous..thank you..we will be back..xx

User

Enjoyed a birthday celebration here earlier today and the food was great. I had the hot chicken and bacon salad and it was delicious

I couldn't eat it all though as the serving was huge

User

Used to really love this place but it’s gone down hill since I was there 8 months ago.

Totally ruined the play area, don’t fix if it’s not broken. The food was ok but no way as near as nice as it used to be, have they changed the chef or? And is there a different person living there/running it? And the range of your home made cakes were quite poor. I won’t be rushing back here.

User

The food was OK but when we was there my nephew had become unwell and was sick on the floor there was a lovely young girl I didn't get her name who came straight over and cleaned up the sick with out hesitation she was very friendly and helpful she also gave us a container and some napkins for our journey home incase he was sick again so I would like to thank that girl

User

Carvery was terrible, really disappointed! Kids food was fine and so was the food off main menu. Service was ok, nice polite young man served me. Carvery really let it down for us, it was luke warm and bland. Such a shame but won't be returning in a hurry

User

Was really looking forward to a carvery here... however so disappointed... roast potatoes were burnt, sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans & red cabbage all completely raw (not al dentè - literally uncooked to the point of being unable to cut them with a knife) no parsnips left .. only thing that was edible was the meat (all 2 slivers of it) ... won't be coming here again which is a shame as kids area is fab

User

Really disappointed with the customer service here. The manager Carolyn was so rude. We had been shown to a table by one of the male staff, the manager came over and stated we were sitting on a reserved table we shouldn’t of sat there. We explained that we were shown to the table by a member of staff - she accused us of lying by saying that he didn’t. Bear in mind this was in the middle of a full restaurant and my Mother who is 84 can hardly walk. Never have I been treated with so little respect. Very unhappy!

User

I went to the cedar tree this morning for cooked breakfast, with my daughter and granddaughter!. We chose to go there because we often go there for dinner and we thought as the baby is nearly two yrs.old .b a great place for her to play!

But was very disappointed this time! We arrived at 10.58.ok we just missed the beakfast buffet so we ordered two cooked breakfast which cost 8.00 each! We were told it woul take half an hour as the chefs have to have a break! Y they were all on break who knows! We also ordered coffee! We had the coffee at 11.25! After 11.30, i queried where our breakfast was! The girl i think was a superviser! Was very abrupt and said u were told !! At 11.40 we had our breakfast! It was very dry and sausages were burnt and hardly warm, mu daughter also asked for a bowl for the baby and tomato ketchup, the same girl came over with a few on a plate instead of bowl and slumped it down on table and did not say anything! We did eat a little as we were starveing! But could not eat much as it was not enjoyable! We spoke to the manager and explained, his attitude was no better and he said"well the air conditioning was on!!" Very disappointed with our visit and put us off ever going there for breakfast again!!

User

Food wasn’t that nice, told the waitress but she wasn’t bothered. Plus my daughter had to wait over 5 minutes for her food whilst we all had ours. Not our first time there, food was good on last visit but this time has put me off. Sorry.

User

Arrived today with 3 other people, the food was cold, the staff were rude and the puddings are not what they used to be. We also noticed there where many people returning their food.

Complete let down with two barmaids who were so rude I don’t think I’ll be going back. It wasn’t even that busy.

User

Visited yesterday, food was great - ladies toilet on the other hand disgusting!!!!

Poo and wee all across the floor in the cubicles, toilet paper everywhere, blocked toilets!!! Just shows there not checked on a regular basis

User

The general manager had one of the worst attitudes I have seen in a while. And the way he was looking at my mother and talking to her was just rude. If someone looked at your mother like she was s*** on floor you wouldn’t be happy either !!!!!!!!!

User

My daughter visited yesterday for her favourite food being the carvery & found a hair in her food which staff DID apologise & offered her a free dessert as an apology, to then bring her dessert home & find another LONG BLACK HAIR going thru her cake & when she rang she was spoken to very rudely & no apology on this occasion. To say she is disappointed in her visit is an understatement.
