Friendly staff. Nice location, on the water, with views from the bar/restaurant.
Great food, both evening menu & breakfast.
Very presentable rooms, clean & tidy, again with views over the water.
Great value for money.
The only slight disappointment was that the place shut down after we checked-in, at approximately 1530, until 1800! They did serve us several beers, with a fridge to store them in, to last us until they re opened. But the heating was off, staff went home and left us to it!
I appreciate its a rural location, out of season. But surely, you're either accepting guests or you're not? And there was no prior warning of this.

Mr & Mrs Phillips are such as nice couple, very friendly. Nothing is a problem to them. Very accommodating, a lovely clean spacious room overlooking the estuary. Fresh towels, complimentary tea and coffee always topped up.The food smelt wonderful and customers were very friendly. Highly recommended, thank you.

Very comfortable accommodation run by really warm friendly family and staff. Wonderful home cooked food.

Steve, Jan and James are a lovely family and can never do to much. We stay regularly as a family and would not hesitate to recommend this lovely inn.

We have always enjoyed a meal here but last Saturday was disappointing... we where a party of 8... at 8.30 you had run out of the soup of the day!! Two of us ordered the fillet steak the most expensive on the menu.. the meat was lovely but we had 3 onion rings, about 3 mushrooms cut up into quarters and then the chips came separate.. no peas/salad.. the waitress wasn't very friendly at all but I must say the owners son was a delight... I was considering celebrating my 50th with you but have now changed my mind.. such a shame..
