Just home from a magical few days at Fforest Fields - our first visit. SO impressed with the amazing facilities - absolutely everything you could possibly need and spotlessly clean (and warm in November!). A very warm welcome and a true family business that cares about it's visitors. Great little shop on site, with fresh sausages, bacon, milk & bread etc

Fabulously stunning location with two lakes (can swim and kayak in the summer), highly recommend the walk up to the top of the hill, the view is almost as good as the campsite. We've already booked to return! Thank you xx

Great stay in a yurt on this lovely site. Showers, washing up area all very clean and the shop is very useful.The site is full of good walks and lovely views. Our fire in the yurt made it so cosy especially as we had a hard frost this morning.

Absolutely fantastic campsite, best we've ever been to. The facilities are clean and well laid out, hot showers and a well stocked shop (lovely home made sausages). The cafe/pub is a great idea and most importantly its all about location, location, location!! Absolutely beautiful, great walks for the dog and lovely lakes for swimming and fishing. Even with the wind and rain we still had a lovely time as the staff are so friendly and the whole site is just so peaceful and relaxing.

We've been coming to Fforest Fields for many years and to be honest you'll be hard pushed to find a nicer site. George and Katey, the owners have made many improvement to the site over the years to make it what it is today. The facilities are second to none, always clean & tidy. They are very approachable spending a lot of time on site. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, always there to help if required. If you're looking for a site which has lots of outdoor things to do you can't go wrong here, there's a lake, lots of walks and loads of wide open spaces. Dogs are more than welcome to. Fforest Fields also have two cottages, we've stayed in Ffynonnau twice now, a beautiful old cottage with lovely views and we'll be coming back to the cottage again. All in all, a lovely site.

We went in early spring. Despite the Welsh rain we enjoyed the visit. Impressed by the large showers and the underfloor heating. Luxury. Looking forward to a summer visit.

We visited again in Summer. Not at all disappointed, the walks were lovely. The ponds had baby coots, ducklings, dragonflies. I have never seen so many baby frogs in my life.

I have been coming to Forest Fields for over twenty years visiting most years often several times each year. Every year they add some new feature, always good. Site is clean and tidy. Shower block was updated on 2014 I believe. Its just about perfect. Two lakes added in the last decade, great walks from site and excellent pub just an easy mile walk away, Hundred House Inn. Book early for Forest Fields campsite as its very popular. Children and dogs have plenty to do so dont get too annoying for those who dont fully appreciate these small beings!!

One of the best campsites I've ever used. Great for outdoorsie people. Has a nice little cafe, great local produce, small lake you can swim in or take your own canoes, kayaks, or SUPs on, fab walks, not far from the Elan Valley. Has fantastic washing facilities, a drying room for wet kit for cyclists, swimmers and kayakers, fridges and charging points with lockable storage for your phones (all included). I also arrived a day late on a bank holl weekend where most sites require 3 nights min and was refunded the night I couldnt use. x

Large site with hook ups and some hard standing. Cafe bar opens at Easter. Handy shop that sells the essentials and lovely local sausages. You can borrow bbq's and they have wood and charcoal for sale. Toilets and showers immaculate and warm. We never had to queue to use the hot free showers (at Easter). Friendly staff who can give you help to find what you want to do in the area. There are two sections - a large open field, which is good for frizby / football etc and a more sheltered and landscaped area closer to the showers / toilets, but with less space for running around. It's a good site to bring bikes to.

Stunning scenery, friendly owner, boating lake and gorgeous walks around. And quite possibly the best, cleanest, warmest toilet and shower block in any campsite we've been to. Would definitely return again.
