Fins Swim School

Fins swim school offers fun swimming lessons for children aged 3 upwards. each class has 1 teacher and 1 assistant and class numbers are extremely small. children learn to have fun in the water as well as learning to keep safe.

Fins swim school was established in 2007 by world masters swimming champion and record holder, Lesley Wilde, who has been teaching /coaching swimmers since 1993. we believe children should learn to have fun in the water , which then makes the process of learning to swim more fun. Because we have small classes of up to 6 children, the teachers are in the water with them giving them the confidence to try things every step of the way. Of course some children take longer to learn for one reason or another and our teachers do their best to give them the support they need with whatever problem they may have.
Fins swim school is affiliated to the ASA ) Amateur Swimming Association ) and as such we use one of their awards schemes to check children's progress every 10 weeks. We also offer Rookie Lifeguard and Mermaid School.
