We are a restaurant that fills all your necessary needs for when it comes to a great meal or even a quick coffee and a slice of cake. With light bites, fish dishes, local meats, and vegetarian dishes; you'll be spoilt for choice. Enjoy the beautiful scenery from our deckings that overlook the River Teifi, where during the summer you could catch sight of kingerfishers. So remember if you're looking for some great food or for a coffee to go, then The Fisherman's Rest is the place for you!

Hope you all enjoyed the stunning weather over the Bank Holiday weekend. Lovely sunset, on the Teifi River following a busy day. Please note we are closed Thursday and Friday (10th and 11th May) this week for a family bereavement. Back on Saturday. Thanks x

A little trip to our coffee suppliers in Ammanford, Coaltown Coffee who have opened a lovely little coffee shop. 😍
A lunch time treat; snacks, starters, mains and desserts followed by a lovely coffee. Table booking recommended (just a few left)

What an absolute gem! The staff are so friendly, the food is gorgeous and they cater fantastically for gluten free. Such a treat to find somewhere so lovely like this. Highly recommend and we will certainly go back on our next visit!!!!
We had the Seafood chowder which was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be going back for more!😋 The atmosphere was friendly and the service was efficient, a great place to eat.
Very impressed. Food and drinks excellent, atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Lovely views of the river. Child friendly.
Ten out of 10 both for river view and excellent sea food, quality service and price.
You would be silly to miss out on this little gem, difficult to find and when you do it still looks shut, so maybe that's why it's one of Cardigans best kept secrets, so don't tell everyone.

Such friendly staff, moved tables to accommodate all 10 of us. Incredible fish, home cooked chips to die for and was there any room for desert. Oh yes don't miss out for a mouth watering treat. Definitely a must. Can't wait to go back. :O :-)

Loved it. Food is beautiful- better than we found in a few restaurants! Staff are lovely, very helpful to us with our touristy questions and dog friendly :-) Will definitely come back xx

Seafood chowder is lovely.
Fisherman's rest is the perfect choice no matter what tasty treat your fancying and to top it all off the location is breathtaking. Would recommended everyone to get their butts there just make sure your hungry as you will definitely want pudding :)
Fantastic dog friendly eatery and hoomans are welcome too. Mum and dad took me in there and they had a lovely prawn salad that they really enjoyed.....so much so that they didn't leave me any. Luckily those very nice hoomans who work there brought me some lovely cold water. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing meal and drink in a beautiful riverside venue.....but save some for your four legged fwend.

Excellent food and service with a smile. They really can't do enough for you. Have tried several different meals, as have the rest of our family, and all very tasty and well presented.

All fresh homemade food using local products. Dressed Crab salad special was fantastic and delicious. Perfect location next to cheap local public car park and river. Cosy inside and has ourside tables overlooking river.

Afternoon tea and cake, just what we needed at that time, could fault it, sat in the afternoon sunshine watching a herein trying to catch his tea, it was so peaceful I nodded of for a moment or three! Very pleasant
