Somewhat down at heel static caravan park.
The caravans have seen better days and the one we stayed in needed a good clean. We spent our first day scrubbing and washing dirty kitchen and dining equipment. The bedding was old and worn and there was a experience musty smell pervading the whole caravan along with the stale tobbaco odour that permeated throughout.

Nice little, quiet holiday park. Accommodation nice but dated, staff excellent, entertainment good. This does not have the facilities of a big park, but that just makes it different not worse. This park is more suited to the older person than families. The pembroke area is fabulously beautiful place to stay.

Great caravan site, well spaced out caravans and hardcore parking. Lovely friendly staff. Plenty to do round about. Very good value for money. Hope to be back next year.

Awful. The caravan was damp. mouldy, greasy and generally just disgusting. No point in going on as there is nothing to say except "DON'T". If you look at the reviews on Trip Advisor, there are many complaints about cleanliness etc going back months but nothing seems to have changed. The contractors clearly take a lot of the blame, but to keep them on when they are failing leaves Charles Howell himself in the spotlight. He is failing too. Stop trying to blame everyone else. Your guest may not raise issues with your reception team at the time. so what ? The timing is irrelevant, what matters is that someone complained AGAIN about poor standards. Sort it out, you're the owner its your problem.

The staff are brill , friendly happy and accommodating . the entertainment was average, but fun the cost was a sun hold so not really relative, had I paid full price I probably wouldn't be happy with the accommodation. On the whole not a bad stay , but would probably not come again. More suited to young families not 3 single women in their 50s xx

Fishgaurd Holiday Park
Simple and inadequate!
We arrived at the holiday park excited at the start of our holiday.
My wife went to reception to pick up the keys to our caravan everything seemed fine.
We entered the caravan to find it very grubby. We found the bed linen that we had paid extra for was just tossed on the bed; my wife had arranged for the beds to be made was thus very disappointed. I went to the reception and was told that they only supply the bed clothes but do not make the beds. We have been to numerous holiday parks and every time we have paid for bed linen the beds have been made to a good standard. If we had known this then we would have taken our own!
After making our beds and cleaning the caravan (especially the fridge) that stunk, because someone had left something in there to rot and it had obviously not been cleaned in god knows how long, we went to the evening’s entertainment. The music was deafening and so was the talking down the microphone, we left.
We then went back to the caravan to try and get some rest. We tried to put our daughter to sleep but were unable to as the noise from the entertainment area was so loud. We put on the TV to try and drown out some of the noise only then to have a power cut to all the caravans, unfortunately not to the entertainment area (the show must go on)! So now we are being forced to listen to this racket from the entertainment area, my daughter is scared because it is dark & cold is unable to sleep. We were also unable to warm her milk as we had no electricity!
We managed to get some rest after the purported entertainment show had finished around 11pm.
I woke in the morning to do my ablutions to find that the shower was inadequate. I turned on the hot water to find what can only be described as a drip. I turned on the cold water as well as the hot to see if we could get any more pressure (hardly). I left the hot water running for a few moments to see if it would pick up it did ever so slightly, I then put my hand under to check the temperature to find it was scalding my hand, I then turned back on the cold water to compensate for the hot water to then have no water pressure all over again.
We left the caravan after breakfast for our day out, after a number of hours unfortunately we had a slight accident, were my 7 month pregnant wife had fallen over and cut her hand and both knees open. I took my wife back to the caravan park to hopefully get medical assistance in the form of a first aid kit. I asked at reception for their kit and in all fairness there were two available. Sadly both inadequate.
I was then told to go and ask in the bar area and again the same story. I asked if there was anywhere where I could buy one and told to go into Fishgaurd. I did I went to local shops and unfortunately they did not have what we needed.
I then asked where the nearest hospital was only to be told that it was more than 30 minuet drive. I had no choice but to drive towards the hospital and hoping to find somewhere closer. I stopped at every petrol station along the way and nothing. I eventually got to where the hospital was and there is a big retail park with a Boots pharmacy where I was able to buy a first aid kit. I then had the 30 minuet drive back the park.
On my arrival back I happened to glance to my right where I saw an ambulance station with 3 ambulances parked outside.  This ambulance station is less than 150 meters away from the reception desk and yet I was told that the nearest hospital or medical advice was more than a 30 minuet drive. Shocking!

We don't normally leave our holidays early but on this occasion we had no choice.
Suffice to say that we will not be recommending Fishgaurd Holiday Park or returning.

Great place to base yourself for Pembrokeshire Coast. Close to shops and buses.

Enjoyed a short family break here. Caravan was clean. Shop onsite had the essentials and the nearby supermarket had everything else we needed. Evening entertainment with local acts and own staff. Quick to rectify damage caused by guests to the pool and soon had it available once more. Lifetime memories were certainly made here. Offer emails can make this more affordable than a BnB with parking by the van. The only negative issue I had was that the wifi could not be used. Views out of the caravan were spectacular once the morning mist disappeared. Staff were great with the younger ones.
