FitBack & Bumps is an Ante and Post Natal Educational Exercise Programme run by Chartered Physio Therapists. It brings mums and mums-to-be together to share pregnancy experiences.
Fit Back & Bumps South Wales With Nicky Munro Dawkins Description
* Exercise safely during and after your pregnancy
* Reduce pelvic and back pain by strengthening your core
* Flatten your tummy after pregnancy
* Make new friends and share your pregnancy experiences
* Reduce the aches and pains associated with pregnancy
* Reduce stress incontinence by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles
* Improve your posture
Each Ante and Post Natal Programme consists of 4 one hour sessions, incorporating exercises, stretches and discussions on different topics.
These include:
* Safe exercising during and after pregnancy
* The pelvic floor muscles
* Regaining your core muscles after pregnancy
* Physical preparation for labour for a smoother delivery
Participants on the programme will receive a pack containing an educational booklet and exercise cards so they can continue the exercises at home or at the gym.
The programmes can be run on a one to one basis or in groups of up to 8 people.
