Playing the best of the 70's and 80's including Disco, Pop, Glam Rock, Funk, Punk, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Rock, New Romantic - Upstairs at O'Neill's, Cardiff

'Flashback', plays tunes from the 70's and 80's, every Saturday, starting from 30th July UPSTAIRS at O'Neill's, St Mary St, Cardiff.

Everything from Disco, Pop, Glam Rock, Funk, Punk, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Rock and New Romantic. A complete cross section of tunes from The Real Thing, Prince, Earth Wind & Fire, Duran Duran, Queen, Madonna, The Bee Gee's, T-Rex, Billy Ocean, Sister Sledge, The Specials, Donna Summer, Chic, David Bowie, Eddy Grant, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, UB40, Michael Jackson and The Pet Shop Boys. Including songs you rarely hear anymore, like 'Stop That Train' by Clint Eastwood and General Saint.

It will be a customer driven night, where we look to play as many requests as possible, and re-introduce something you never see these days, the end of night slow dance section. When back in the day we'd all desperately scan the room, to see who was available for a smooch to Let's Get It On (Marvin Gaye), Zoom (Fat Larry Band), True (Spandau Ballet) or Move Closer (Phyllis Nelson).

Doors open at 10pm, and close at 2am. Entrance is just £2 b4 11, and £3 after. Let's be honest, you can't get much for £2 these days, maybe a lottery ticket, but you'll have more chance of striking it lucky and getting a roll over at Flashback, than you will on the lottery!

By the way, we finish at 2am, because we want to beat the youngsters over to Caroline Street, and be first in the queue for chips, cheese and beans!
