We've been coming here the odd weekend, since just before Easter: it's such a wonderful place. The facilities are lovely, they are constantly doing something to improve the grounds and the staff just can't do enough for you. Today I had to compliment those on shift at the bar/restaurant as they did so much to make us feel at ease when ordering food for our son with multiple allergies (they even came over to double check and reassure us) - definitely picked the right place to holiday!! Thank you fontygary Leisure Park. X

User

We took a motorhome for a weekend. The staff were all brilliant, swimming pool and bowling was good and the food was excellent and good value. We did have a problem with the van but we received the help we needed. Hope to go back when the sun is shining!

User

We have recently bought a caravan on this caravan park. I have solely dealt with Nicola during the sales process. What a credit she is to the Company. Nothing is too much trouble for her, even on her days off. If the rest of the staff are half as friendly and helpful as Nicola then we are in for a real treat during our caravan adventure. X

User

Visited today with my 11 month old granddaughter - we came for a swim and you were highly recommended to us. We were not disappointed . Beautiful clean pool and changing rooms with helpful, friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

User

My partner and myself have just purchased a caravan here helped by the lovely joanne, who might i say was amazing. Have stayed on this site many of times in our tourer, but family have outgrown it so hence the purchase of a static cannot wait to start our new adventure on this amazing family friendly site x

User

Mel is a credit to the company, she went above and beyond to correct a simple mistake. This was really impressive.

Chap on front of house is incredibly welcoming and polite.

Food is great and reasonably priced, as are drinks.

Touring park has water, drainage and ehookup per pitch.

All in all very good, and will certainly return.

User

Lovely site clean and staff very friendly this is the fourth time we have taken our motor home there this year always really enjoy our stay think it was a good idea to put the singer on in the main bar on a Saturday night so everyone could enjoy.we had food in the bar on friday and it was very nice the indian restaurant on site is good .

User

Lovely place to visit food was very good drinks are reasonable price and the views are stunning. Fab place to visit

User

I visited this park today for a meeting, all i can say is wow to all the facilities on-site, the function room & views of the channel were amazing. The new sun terrace etc was another level. Awesome place for your event or wedding. I cant wait to see the new website.

User

Well enjoyed my stay been 4 times now the ground was the worst I have experienced there may need to rethink the pitches and may be do double pebble plots so you can put caravan and awning on there there would not have this problem again .but this will not stop me and family visiting again hope to see you in the summer

User

Stayed mid July on the touring field. Staff were helpful.

The site is good with clean toilet block and Showers. A nice bar (we only used once though) with play area outside for kids.

Some lovely walks along the Coastal path nearby

Easy to come and go using your code for the gate.

The only downside was when we tried swimming one morning - the pool was very cold, especially for our children.

Easy enough to get to the train station if wanting to go out for the day.

A chip shop, indian and pizza place all onsite

User

Love the new balcony but why oh why are the rules not adhered to. Sat there tonight and had smokers next to us and people eating pizzas with children. That’s three of the rules broken!!

User

Good points of which there were many:

Very clean site .

Very pleasant & friendly , helpful staff

Quick check in service

Great for children with a nice pool & bowling & small play area .

Close rocky beach & scenic views.

Reasonable prices throughout.

Would have given 5*...it was only the lack of a shop selling essentials & that it was very noisy during the night that prevented this.

Would definetly return.

User

Fantastic views not suitable in strong winds, pool was cold staff serving in the bar could do with a little smile now and again fantastic indian on site, toilet block/shower was clean

User

first time visiting I thought the place was lovely very clean but it has a down side there's no children allowed in the adults entertainment area so we couldnt watch a show they did have a child's disco but that was only a Fri and Sat so if your there any other day there be nothing in the nights for children it seems to be for adult only in nights not for family's

User

Very disappointed with the condition of the ground as we love the site and been visiting this site quite often, just think the weekend should of been cancelled . I know it's not anyone's fault but really think this time it should of been cancelled .

We tried to make the most of it and used the swimming pool thought the changing rooms could be cleaned more often as the floor conditions was herendous with the mud .

Had booked for a Easter Sunday lunch for 2 pm after waiting an hour was very very disappointed with the quality of the food , couldn't fault the staff as they tried their very best to accommodate us , definitely felt this weekend was a wash out

User

Just returned. Pitches very cramped, with literally la metre between next doors awning and our caravan. Fab views of the Bristol channel, and lots of places to walk without using car.

However, they now have a funfair onsite, run by two rip off artists!! Reception charge £5 per wristband to use the funfair. However the two running the funfair then decide that the trampolines are not included in the wristband deal. At first I was told that there was no charge for the trampolines, so my daughter had a few goes. Then later in the afternoon, she went to go on the trampoline again, but was told that there is an extra £3 for that, despite NO signs ANYWHERE to say that. They are just out to con people, and line their own pockets!

User

The touring pitches are not level to the extent of me not needing to put the rear corner stays done at all.due to the site not being level we couldn't put up the awning. The toilets were clean, but the bind required emptying. I contacted the site before setting off to ask about water and waste on our super pitch and was advised our pitch had both. The problem is since when does waste water flow up hill??? The waste drain was higher than the bottom of the caravan... I suppose you get what you pay for...

User

The site was fine, kids loved the swimming (with four children... quite pricey for us on a daily basis) and the Wi-fi was excellent. The bar was lovely beautiful views and friendly and helpful staff. However we had paid for a hard standing and arrived to a grass hard standing and got stuck straight away trying to position our van as the ground was boggy, as did every other caravan car or motor home that arrived after that. Decided to grin and bare as we only had two nights and needed the break. Upon reflection we should have maybe rethought it, couldn’t get our van level due to the slop on the touring field, electric was poor kept tripping so ended up draining the caravan battery flat, the ground was so saturated and muddy our carpets inside will need professional cleaning, the kids and the dog were constantly covered in mud... it was everywhere. Don’t think we would return to the site unfortunately unless the electric for the caravans is improved and it has not rained for at least a week before we go.
