Hi everyone Food for thought have some great news. Our nephews who have been making and creating some of the wonderful food you eat with us in the day are taking on their own adventure, to open up food for thought every Friday night from the 12th April, bringing you Caribbean food made from authentic traditional recipes and of course using local produce were possible as always! There will be something for everyone. We are taking bookings now. food served from 6pm-9pm menu to follow soon. Louise and I are proud to give Gary and Martyn this opportunity to host these evenings so they can bring some sunshine in your life with this exciting style of food xx

What a find! Atmosphere & staff were just the tip of the iceberg in this gem of a place.

The pulled beef was mouth watering & the scotch egg was to die for plus the majority of food n cakes were gluten free too!!

Wud recommend tenfold & will be returning that's for sure!! �

Went in today for lunch, table for 3,was told there wasn't any tables at the moment and was asked if we didn't mind waiting, we waited and within 5 mins we were seated :), ordered food and drinks, were told there would be a slight wait for food as it was busy, (could see it was busy, so happy to wait) we'll worth the wait, had the chicken special, highly recommended. Cheers�

Went for lunch with my boyfriend yesterday and enquired about making the veggie burger vegan and I was not dissapointed. Out waitress was very patient and went through my order to make sure she got it right. It was lush! Hats off to the chef it was amazing!

We really enjoyed our visit here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food excellent. We would highly recommend.

We called in for lunch yesterday on a very rainy day, the place was very busy but the staff told us a table would be free soon, which it was and we were taken through. My husband had a baguette and I had baked camembert light lunch , both were amazing, fresh and with a great side salad, we also had chips which also were great! All the staff were helpful, friendly and the place was very clean (toilets were good too! ) would recommend it when you're in cardigan � and also priced well .

Visiting friends in Llandysul and after a sunny walk in Cardigan popped into Food For Thought for a coffee and a bite to eat to be pleasantly surprised! The staff were incredible and the food was amazing! Will definitely be visiting again (if not every day for the rest of our time here!)

That was a great wheelchair accessible place catering splendidly and pleasantly! I would return and recommend it to visitors in smiley Cardigan. It is not far from the local craft shop where you will have a friendly welcome.

Really impressed by the veggie options here....everything nice and fresh and flavourful....it was really busy but we didn't wait long which was great as every plate that past made me feel ravenous �

Probably the best food in Cardigan, great breakfast at a really good price, brilliant specials and their burgers are excellent.

Popped into Food for Thought for the first time today to meet a friend for lunch and had a lovely meal of Sweet Potato Falafel and salad plus the most moist Chocolate and Coconut slice. The menu was extremely varied and the service was so friendly and warm I felt so welcome, thank you so much xxx

My favourite place to take my grandson when I am down West on Nanna duties staff are always so helpful and definitely the best food in town 😊. Took my husband there when he was down last and he loved it too. Friendly relaxed atmosphere always 😊😊

Had our anniversary lunch out here on Thursday, it was delicious! I had the black pudding Scotch egg, my husbabd had the fajita wrap and we shared a portion of yummy halloumi fries. We'll be back!

Had lunch here today with my hubby, and the food was amazing!!!! So tasty!! We were both really happy with our meals. The service was great as always. Keep up the good work Food For Thought - you're FAB!!

Excellent full breakfast. This gem of a cafe was so lovely we returned for our dinner several hrs later and had the best chilli. I'm a very fusy eater and it's rare for me to find more than one thing on a menu but here there were several dishes all home made too. Wish I lived closer as I would be a regular but we will def be calling back again loved the decor too

Excellent and friendly service with a lot of vegan friendly options, I had a gorgeous open flatbread with avocados and sweet peppers without the feta and it was delicious! I just wanted to give the place a shout out because I was super impressed all round. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Cardigan.

Anyone looking for a high quality gluten free option must go here. Not only do they have clearly stated options on the menu but always ask whether you are Celiac so they be extra careful in the kitchen. I have been with my family on many occasions who love it too. The staff are always run off their feet but extremely friendly, helpful and happy. Food For Thought is in the Premier League of eateries!

Amazing flavours! My husband and I had the Welsh beef burger today and can honestly say we have never tasted anything like it, the burger was so well seasoned and extremely meaty. The coleslaw was delicious and the chips were out of this world, no grease at all. We were just gutted we couldn't finish it all, can't wait to come back to try something else!!!

A lovely little place and enjoyed a wonderful lunch of cockles and laver bread! Who knew seaweed could be so tasty? Excellent food, very friendly helpful staff and extremely good value for money. Hope to visit again soon �
