We bought full day for my sons 30 th birthday with fast lap he had really lovely day and his little boy loved his ride around the track they all had lovely day yesterday driveing a mk2 escort thank you

Just got back from an amazing 1:1 rally day for my sons 18th birthday. Split half and half over two days, we stayed in the B&B for the night too.

Graham, his instructor, was simply fantastic - experienced, tests your limits and good fun too. They just didn’t stop, he had hours and hours of learning and driving in beautiful scenery. As spectators, Graham made sure we were well looked after and had great views too.

Ross, Graham, Walter, Ann, Jake and Hannah really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and I’d highly recommend the experience. I think you might have started something...you can expect to see us back!

I went with Andy as a spectator, but this is one of those rare occassions where the spectators are made to feel as included as the participants. There were 5 of us not driving and we all felt very much part of the group, all cheering the riders on and were even driving in a 4x4 along the track to an excellent viewing spot. It was so much fun, we were all excited for the drivers as they learned to do handbrake turns and hone their driving techniques to go faster on the laps. A great day, worth every penny and definitely worth going as a spectator. Wyn was awesome and Ged and the team excel in providing a great rally experience!

I spent a long time looking for the right place to do a 'proper' rally driving course and this was it. it was everything myself and my friends wanted, driving mk2 Escorts around a very muddy forest. I did look at other companies but although they may have had flashier websites, the Forest Rally school was full of heritage. How many other places can say that WRC teams use their facilities for testing and Colin McRae regularly used the site. Top Gear was there in the last few weeks too. I will go again no doubt, worth the drive.

I looked at many Rally Experience options before opting for this one, it is always difficult to judge value for money with this type of event but I Couldn't be happier with my choice, The day ran smoothly, the car took all the punishment and didn't miss a beat, the course was challenging and varied and the passenger lap at the end of the day was unbelievable,

I have been dreaming about driving rally cars for ages. As I'm living in Belgium, we don't have specialised rally schools. I came to the UK for 6 weeks and saw this as the perfect opportunity to make my dream come true. Perfect service while arranging the course, as I only reserved the course 4 weeks in advance, many thanks for this Walter. The full day course was just amazing. One of the best days in my life! A wet and slippery Welsh forest and a back to basic Escort mk2, just wonderful. This alone would make my day, but the star of the day was Wyn, our driving instructor. The perfect teacher in my objective: clear, calm, patient and very friendly in the car, but a real joker outside. Only constructive feedback and I loved the rally stories during the breaks. Progressing through the day, I really felt more comfortable in the car and after this experience, I feel like I learned a lot on car control on these slippery stages. Thank you Wyn for making my day truly amazing! We also had the most wonderful group sharing the Ford, thank you everyone for the beautiful day. I can recommend this day to everyone who has a heart for rallysport, I will certainly be back this summer! 10/10

I had a fantastic morning yesterday at the Forest Rally Experience, I was easily booked in by Walter back in January with no problems. Arrived to a wet and slippy Welsh forest, which is what I wanted to drive around in the Escort Mk2. Loved every minute of it. Wyn was a top bloke, great instructor, patient and a great sense of humour, I learnt a lot from him, improved my driving throughout the morning and I ended it with the best handbrake turn of the group! I will definitely be back to do the full day course in the future. It was the best experience day I've been on.

Had an awesome day, will deffinantly be going back for more. I'd like to thank ross (instructor) for an awesome day, really dont think it would have been the same wiv out him. Everything was great, the weather(luck), venue, car, food, made great friends and had an awesome experiance. Thanks for everything.

Will deffo be back! Only 1 minor complaint would be that the car I was driving obviously had some sort of issue with the power because my floor would be flat to the ground and only going 30mph, had to stop a few times to reset it, nevertheless, still giving 5* because it was such an awesome day��

Fantastic day! 4 of us came for the full day and what a day it was!! Wyn is a legend, down to earth and fantastic instructor telling exactly what you need to hear. So much time in the car out on stage makes this one of the best Rally days for experiencing the forest. Cheers guys :) see you next year

Fantastic day out. Chose this place because they have proper forest stages and proper rally cars (MKII Escort!).

Our instructor Graham started with a briefing about how important the brake pedal is, how we have to start slow and build up our skills, that if we're too hard on the car it'll break on the first stage. "Oh great" I thought, "One of those driving experience days where you don't really get to push it" but no worry here - with 22 years experience he quickly figures out ability and if he's happy you're in control he's happy to go fast. (In the morning he mostly says "Brake, 3rd" in the afternoon "POWER!")

As it hadn't rained for a while I was worried about too much grip but that really isn't a problem - you'll still be drifting round bends in 4th gear.

At the end of the day it was Graham's turn to scare those of us who'd opted for the "Fast lap" and swap seats to show us how it's really done.

There were 5 in our group and another 4 in a FWD Focus and everybody enjoyed themselves, which is what matters.

I'm planning to go back in the winter to see how opposite conditions compare.

Excellent day 1 to 1 with Wyn (top bloke, just wants to have a good laugh but also wants you to learn and improve) I can't recommend this enough, you will not experience a "experience day" like it, if you want to do a Forrest rally stage without the cost of the car and pick up some very helpful tips on and off the stage while really enjoying yourself this is the place to go. I had a mk2 escort at my disposal all I can say is what a car, started with a sighting lap, then on to some technical with hand brake turns learning how the car reacts to different situations, then onto a full stage building speed up as we went on through the day. To finish off was a blast out (as passenger) in a Subaru Impreza which was epic, the place was a 7 hour round trip from our home and worth every minute!! I have now got the bug and I will be working towards buying one!! Excellent day and will definitely be back!!

Definelty worth the trip and planning for my next visit! :)

Been here today with my husband for his 40th birthday pressie and honestly could not have asked for a better day!! Very looked after from start to finish.. guys were very professional, Rodrey and James... what can I say... just excellent hosts, teachers and entertainers to boot!!!

Awesome experience, Ross and James were great all day, some problems with the cars but what do you expect when they're getting flung about! All sorted with replacements in a short time to keep everyone's day running and having everyone get enough seat time. Couldn't recommend more, a great little course and a very enjoyable day. Will definitely be coming back for another go soon!

Absolutely amazing day, brilliant stages, cars are great, staffs attitude is brilliant and really makes the day enjoyable. The passenger ride fast lap is a must, Ross had me holding on for dear life. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Cars not working, £300 for what amounted to 30 minutes behind the wheel. Food was late due to issues with the cars. Wyn thankfully rescued the day and tried his best to make it a good experience for all. I did meet some lovely people on the day and sadly the feeling was unanimous (great instructor - poor business model managed by people who not care for the customer). I fail to see how the rating is so high, or is it a case of people are too polite to tell the truth? Maybe if I had seen a review like mine I would have taken the time to investigate other rallying experiences. Please ignore my review by all means, go experience it yourself and make up your own mind. Maybe I was expecting too much for £300? A working car? A warm area to shelter between drives? Food a touch better than a pastie and crisps? Driving longer than 25-30 mins throughout the day?

Absolutely amazing day, brilliant stages, cars are great, staffs attitude is brilliant and really makes the day enjoyable. The passenger ride fast lap is a must, Ross had me holding on for dear life. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Cars not working, £300 for what amounted to 30 minutes behind the wheel. Food was late due to issues with the cars. Wyn thankfully rescued the day and tried his best to make it a good experience for all. I did meet some lovely people on the day and sadly the feeling was unanimous (great instructor - poor business model managed by people who not care for the customer). I fail to see how the rating is so high, or is it a case of people are too polite to tell the truth? Maybe if I had seen a review like mine I would have taken the time to investigate other rallying experiences. Please ignore my review by all means, go experience it yourself and make up your own mind. Maybe I was expecting too much for £300? A working car? A warm area to shelter between drives? Food a touch better than a pastie and crisps? Driving longer than 25-30 mins throughout the day?

Just got back from an amazing 1:1 rally day for my sons 18th birthday. Split half and half over two days, we stayed in the B&B for the night too.

Graham, his instructor, was simply fantastic - experienced, tests your limits and good fun too. They just didn’t stop, he had hours and hours of learning and driving in beautiful scenery. As spectators, Graham made sure we were well looked after and had great views too.

Ross, Graham, Walter, Ann, Jake and Hannah really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and I’d highly recommend the experience. I think you might have started something...you can expect to see us back!

I went with Andy as a spectator, but this is one of those rare occassions where the spectators are made to feel as included as the participants. There were 5 of us not driving and we all felt very much part of the group, all cheering the riders on and were even driving in a 4x4 along the track to an excellent viewing spot. It was so much fun, we were all excited for the drivers as they learned to do handbrake turns and hone their driving techniques to go faster on the laps. A great day, worth every penny and definitely worth going as a spectator. Wyn was awesome and Ged and the team excel in providing a great rally experience!

I did look at other companies but although they may have had flashier websites, the Forest Rally school was full of heritage. How many other places can say that WRC teams use their facilities for testing and Colin McRae regularly used the site. Top Gear was there in the last few weeks too. I will go again no doubt, worth the drive.

I came to the UK for 6 weeks and saw this as the perfect opportunity to make my dream come true. Perfect service while arranging the course, as I only reserved the course 4 weeks in advance, many thanks for this Walter. The full day course was just amazing. One of the best days in my life! A wet and slippery Welsh forest and a back to basic Escort mk2, just wonderful. This alone would make my day, but the star of the day was Wyn, our driving instructor. The perfect teacher in my objective: clear, calm, patient and very friendly in the car, but a real joker outside. Only constructive feedback and I loved the rally stories during the breaks. Progressing through the day, I really felt more comfortable in the car and after this experience, I feel like I learned a lot on car control on these slippery stages. Thank you Wyn for making my day truly amazing! We also had the most wonderful group sharing the Ford, thank you everyone for the beautiful day. I can recommend this day to everyone who has a heart for rallysport, I will certainly be back this summer! 10/10

I had a fantastic morning yesterday at the Forest Rally Experience, I was easily booked in by Walter back in January with no problems. Arrived to a wet and slippy Welsh forest, which is what I wanted to drive around in the Escort Mk2. Loved every minute of it. Wyn was a top bloke, great instructor, patient and a great sense of humour, I learnt a lot from him, improved my driving throughout the morning and I ended it with the best handbrake turn of the group! I will definitely be back to do the full day course in the future. It was the best experience day I've been on.

Had an awesome day, will deffinantly be going back for more. I'd like to thank ross (instructor) for an awesome day, really dont think it would have been the same wiv out him. Everything was great, the weather(luck), venue, car, food, made great friends and had an awesome experiance. Thanks for everything.

Did a full day, had plenty of driving time, learned loads of new skills even had a crash � Food was lovely and instructors were brilliant, super calm, pushed you to try your best but not pressured into anything! Will deffo be back! Only 1 minor complaint would be that the car I was driving obviously had some sort of issue with the power because my floor would be flat to the ground and only going 30mph, had to stop a few times to reset it, nevertheless, still giving 5* because it was such an awesome day��

Fantastic day out. Chose this place because they have proper forest stages and proper rally cars (MKII Escort!).

Our instructor Graham started with a briefing about how important the brake pedal is, how we have to start slow and build up our skills, that if we're too hard on the car it'll break on the first stage. "Oh great" I thought, "One of those driving experience days where you don't really get to push it" but no worry here - with 22 years experience he quickly figures out ability and if he's happy you're in control he's happy to go fast. (In the morning he mostly says "Brake, 3rd" in the afternoon "POWER!")

As it hadn't rained for a while I was worried about too much grip but that really isn't a problem - you'll still be drifting round bends in 4th gear.

At the end of the day it was Graham's turn to scare those of us who'd opted for the "Fast lap" and swap seats to show us how it's really done.

There were 5 in our group and another 4 in a FWD Focus and everybody enjoyed themselves, which is what matters.

I'm planning to go back in the winter to see how opposite conditions compare.

Excellent day 1 to 1 with Wyn (top bloke, just wants to have a good laugh but also wants you to learn and improve) I can't recommend this enough, you will not experience a "experience day" like it, if you want to do a Forrest rally stage without the cost of the car and pick up some very helpful tips on and off the stage while really enjoying yourself this is the place to go. I had a mk2 escort at my disposal all I can say is what a car, started with a sighting lap, then on to some technical with hand brake turns learning how the car reacts to different situations, then onto a full stage building speed up as we went on through the day. To finish off was a blast out (as passenger) in a Subaru Impreza which was epic, the place was a 7 hour round trip from our home and worth every minute!! I have now got the bug and I will be working towards buying one!! Excellent day and will definitely be back!!
