✨ CUSTOMER UPDATE ✨
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have shown us during this uncertain time for us all, least not on Mother’s Day - we were totally overwhelmed with the sheer number that wanted a takeaway and supported us, so thank you all so much.
However, we have friends and family who are working on the front line of this pandemic and want to do everything in our power to make sure the nhs doesn’t become overwhelmed. ... We don’t want to be part of the problem, but strive to be part of the solution, we have a responsibility to keep this disease from spreading and even with the greatest will in the world and all the measures we have put in place we still feel that the risk is too great. There are also many who are dear to us in the vulnerable category, so for now we have taken the decision that we will not be serving takeaways until we feel it is safe to do so. We will monitor this on a weekly basis and promise to let you all know as soon as we are open for takeaways again.
Stay safe and only go out when you have to, when this all passes we can’t wait to welcome you back to dine and drink to your hearts content, it is very quiet here in the pub without you all. We can’t wait to get back to the hussle and bussle but for now this is our new normal.

We have tried to space out our collections and limit the amount of people at any one time by giving time slots. However if there is already somebody in the building if you could just wait outside atleast 1.5 metres apart.
We are working as quick as we can and are still learning under these new and challenging circumstances.

We have been totally overwhelmed by the support for our Sunday lunch takeaways - thank you all so much!
We still have some availability but you better be quick, order before 7.30pm for guaranteed takeaway tomorrow.
We are asking that when you collect your takeaways, you come in the front door, through the left hand door and in to the bar area. If there is already somebody waiting for their takeaway we kindly ask if you could wait outside or a safe distance away. We would al...so appreciate if you could sanitise your hands on arrival using the hand sanitiser on the bar.

We are offering our takeaway menu between 6pm and 7.30pm this evening. Please make sure you order with us by 3pm today on 01267 211341 📞
We also ask anybody who is planning on booking a Sunday lunch takeaway with us to get in touch as soon as possible. This is to give the chefs a rough number so they are able to prepare meat and vegetables accordingly.
You may be given a time slot to collect your takeaway as we are trying our best to limit the amount of physical contact/amou...nt of people in the building at any one time.

Unfortunately, given the latest off the government we have been ordered to close to sit-in customers with immediate effect.
We are in the process of contacting all of our bookings for the next couple of weeks.
We will still be offering takeaways tomorrow evening and Sunday lunch takeaways during the hours of 12-2pm on Mother’s Day.
... We are still planning for a meals on wheels type service which we will hopefully finalise by the beginning of next week.

Following the latest guidelines to avoid pubs and other public places, we wish to remind you all that we are open as usual. With these very uncertain times we are all currently facing, we wanted to reassure you that we are, and will continue to take the safety of both our staff and customers very seriously.
