♥ Micro Rings (No Glue) ♥
The latest method in hair extensions.

The Micro Ring technique is the perfect application method if you are put off by the idea of attaching extensions using glue. Although the Pre-Bonded is cheaper to fit, the micro ring strands can be repositioned back up to the root once grown out, saving you money in the long term. Micro rings are generally considered the most undetectable. As there is no glue and there is no damage to the hair. These lightweight, almost undetectable metal rings are applied to your own hair; the hair extension is then clamped tightly inside the ring holding it securely to your natural hair. These tiny rings, which are coloured to blend in with your own hair will not be seen through. This is a cold method which uses no glues, heat or chemicals of any sort. The rings come in a range of different hair colours and are covered with a smooth coating which provides a comfortable cushion for hair. The rings clamp securely in place and will not slip out even during the most challenging of activities. These can last up 3-4 months with the correct care and personal daily maintenance from the client before they need repositioning.

Between 150-200 micro rings are attached for a full head of extensions. The clamps will not slip and are comfortable to wear from day to day. The hair can be washed, dried, straightened and curled just as you would your natural hair.

♥ Hot Fusion Keratin Pre-Bonded Hair Extensions ♥
Method used on Celebrities such as Katie Price and Cheryl Cole.

The pre-bonded technique is an advance on the traditional glue gun method as it is cleaner, safer, and has less shredding. It is gentle to your hair and easily removable unlike lots of other types of glue which tend to be silicon based. Silicon glue is difficult to remove and can damage your natural hair. This is why hair extensions get a bad reputation! Each strand of hair has approx. 180-200 individual hairs fused together at the end with keratin protein glue. This hair is fused to the client’s natural hair with a fusion iron. Depending on the thickness of the hair, a client will usually have between 150-200 strands for a full head of extensions. These will last approx 3-4 months before they need to be removed /replaced; however this is dependent on the clients care and personal daily maintenance.

Using this method your hair will fall naturally, and the bonds are cleverly disguised so that they are virtually undetectable. And, the best thing is that hair can be washed, dried, straightened, and curled as usual.
I choose not to use the old hot glue gun method as the pre-bonded hair has a far better result. With the hot glue gun method, when washing, water can easily enter the bonds if not sealed correctly, resulting in the glue weakening and the extension detaching. As the pre-bonded strands are sealed before application, this is virtually impossible, the bonds are fully sealed and this also prevents hair being missed by the glue and shredding whilst the hair is brushed or styled.

With the appropriate care, the pre-bonded method leaves next to no damage to the natural hair.

♥ Before Having Hair Extensions Fitted. . . ♥

* Please ensure to thoroughly wash and cleanse your hair before coming for your fitting, it is advisable to use a clarifying shampoo to completely remove any styling products or residue remaining in your hair.

* Try to come with your hair free from any styling products and straightened, this makes it clearer to see when applying the bonds.

* To have hair extensions, your hair should be a minimum of 3-4 inches in length, just about long enough to put into a ponytail. Ideally, the longer your hair, the easier to integrate. However, shorter lengths can be done. All I really need is enough hair to be able to hold onto to add hair to, an inch and a half, but it will be harder to blend and grow out quicker. If your hair is too short, then going any longer than 16 inches may not be advisable.
