Thank you so much Danielle Blythe for the update! I absolutely love photos and updates from my patients so please keep sending them! Danielle’s little mare had a routine physio session and just needed a little help strengthening her hind end, so I gave her some exercises to help her out! Here she is performing them and looking absolutely fantastic! Just look at that flexion and core strength! Exercise prescription is included within every physio session however I also do exercise prescription sessions for £30. These can be in hand or ridden and I’ll set up a 45 minute session of specific exercises to help your horse with balance and strength. Contact me for details!

Had an absolutely wonderful day at Dan yr Ogof as always, huge thanks to Sara Jane Parry for letting me borrow her thermal camera and her beautiful pixie. I thought I’d run an experiment with the laser to see how the laser affects blood flow around a joint to give us all a better understanding of the changes it causes in the body. The first photo was at the start of the laser treatment and the second was at the end of the treatment. As you can see there is a change in temp...erature of nearly a degree! Which is really considerable! The change in temperature is caused by the laser increasing blood flow where it is applied. This is one of the ways in which it can aid healing and can give relief to an arthritic joint. Laser sessions are perfect for animals recovering from injury or to help relieve arthritic animals. The beautiful philly having a thorough MOT today to make sure she is all set for the summer holidays! She fell asleep during her session today, really enjoyed the laser treatment! This is the gorgeous Ted comes in to have joint hydro and physio sessions at the retreat in Llansamlet. He’s been practicing his exercise prescription at home which his family have been working so hard on! Here he is learning a new exercise and you can see how quickly he catches on! The combined hydro and physio is working so well for him and he’s coming on in leaps and bounds! Why not speak to myself or Dani at the retreat for more information on how hydro and physio could benefit your pet! The first assessment session is £60 for combined therapy’s and then drops to £50 for subsequent sessions!

Had a different patient today, the wonderful Ellie 😍😍 I’m happy to physio all shapes sizes and species! Ellie is suffering from some arthritis so was having a massage and some stretches to loosen her up and had laser treatment which will help reduce inflammation, reduce pain and increase blood flow in the targeted area. Laser sessions really make a difference to my arthritis patients so if you’d love to help your dog, horse... or sheep and are a bit worried about long term costs associated with conditions like arthritis have a chat to me about a laser programme. They start at £25 a session including exercise prescription and can be run as frequently as you want according to your budget!

Had a wonderful day working with the shires at the Dan yr ogof shire horse centre. Can’t say enough for how much the girls here care for these horses, they are all in fab condition. Heavy horses suffer with joint problems due to their sheer size, so the lovely Fred here underwent a musculoskeletal assessment today and had a treatment to keep him in tip top shape! She has treated most of my horses (I have six)!! and the difference she has made to them is phenomenal. All of them have made a significant improvement following her treatment. Imogen has been helping my little dog Ted with some issues as a result of knee surgery and a genetic abnormality, she is so knowledgeable, and has already helped enormously after only a few sessions. Shes fab with Ted and he enjoys the treatment �
