Freye Dry Cleaning

Absolutely disgusting attitude. Dirty shop, belligerent staff, shrug all responsibility from damage, know exactly how to protect themselves from the consequences of their mistakes and incompetence. I feel they actively seek confrontation, and despite all this ... they have the gaul to charge £15 to dry-clean a two-piece suit! Is this a dry-cleaners or a joke factory?

If you bring an item you care about to this shop, you are out of your mind. Don't say you weren't warned. I'd would never EVER bring anything here. The way they treat items is a disgrace.

Some things a review can't do, and that's accurately communicate the contemptuous tone and disrespectfulness of their staff. But my experience with this 'dry cleaners' has been horrific. I wouldn't use them if I was paid to do so. Nasty, rude, pushy, aggressive, sharp, dirty, unprofessional, incompetent, and a COMPLETE LIABILITY.

Overcharged for sewing just 3 ins on the end of a tie by repair lady, told just £2 was charged £8.00, disgraceful way to treat customers... Had an evening dress dry cleaned and they did a good job. Saw the bad reviews so was skeptic but they were by far the closest and were cheaper then the others I called so gave it a go. They had it ready the next day and were friendly.

I took a new skirt in to be shortened. It was pinned up with two safety pins to the length I wanted it. As the sewing person was not there I gave them my phone number and told them to call if there were any queries e.g. size of hem. When I collected the item, I was shocked to see that, instead of the length I showed, the skirt had been cut to where the safety pins were inserted - meaning that is was far too short. The sewing person was in the shop when I went back - she argued point blank that she had cut it correctly quoting her 30 years of experience. She then said that I had pinned it up all round to that length. That was clearly a lie as I had only put two safety pins in the front. I realized that if she was prepared to invent a story, there was no hope of her admitting to her mistake. The company of course backed her. I was refunded the cost of the work but now have a new skirt that is unwearable. Beware.

Had two coats dry cleaned and disappointed with result. When i got the coats home, the first thing I did was to remove fluff and bits of wool from edges of both coats. I agree about the dingy store.
