Our good friends Robert Cole and Shane Boxall ventured out on the boat yesterday in search of some fish on the lures. It’s fair to say they had some great success! Using a variety of red gill and sidewinder lures, they both managed to catch a variety of species including some big pollock, aswell as some pouting and ling also! Well done gents!

Whilst fishing over low water on sunday, Our good friend Andrew Davies had a successful session as he managed to pick up some dogs, straps and a few nice hounds aswell! All of his success came from a selection of our baits, including fresh devon peeler crab which we have plenty in stock at the moment!

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) invites you to their annual South Wales ROD, DOG & GUN DAY!
Held at Dyffryn Springs Venue, on Sunday the 19th of May, there will be gun dog scurries, fly casting tuition and clay shooting, with on site catering.
All ages are welcome! It should be a great day out!

*CATCH REPORT* With word of some hounds that are around at the moment, regular customer David Brendan Davies headed down to knab rock with a friend of his, and they both had some nice fish to show for their efforts! Brendan used some of our frozen squid to find the hounds! We have plenty of fresh bait available tomorrow, including fresh crab, ragworm and a full stock of frozen baits!

Marc Woodward has been on fire over on the Wharf fishery yet again! *CATCH REPORT* Whilst on a trip back from the Isle of White aboard white water II, SWSA chairman Robert Cole felt it would be rude not to drop a lure over some popular Pollack marks, and it certainly paid off! After just a short period of time, Rob had 4 cracking fish, which all fell to some of his favourite lures, with blue being the most effective colour.
