Gateway Church Cymru is a growing, vibrant church based in Aberdare, the heart of the South Wales valleys. We are a church where anyone can be changed by the love and grace of Jesus.

Welcome to Gateway Church, Aberdare. We are a lively Church based in Aberdare, the heart of the South Wales valleys. Gateway is part of the Assemblies of God network. Gateway Church is a church with a mixed congregation of all ages and drawing people from many different backgrounds.

Gateway Church (formally Aberaman Pentecostal Church) is a church with a vision for meeting our town and surrounding areas. Started in 1910, Gateway Church was formally a pub located in the village of Aberaman. It was with great faith and prayer that Gateway Church was started and is still here over 100 years later.

Part of the Assemblies of God network, a nationwide movement with over 500 churches throughout the UK, we are a growing church with an increasingly varied congregation including many from the Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil area. We have a heart for our area, for Wales and for the Nations.

If you are new to Gateway Church or are considering joining us for a service we hope you will find a place where you feel welcomed and at home. Gateway Church is made up of ordinary people responding to the love of God and the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
