Wow what can I say... we got married here 25th July Rachel and the staff were absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect! Rachel went above and beyond.... we had our ceremony outside it couldn’t have been better. Even when one of our guests broke her leg on my starlit dancefloor the party didn’t stop Rachel and my dj moved the party outside where we stayed for a few hours Rachel got us all blankets and made sure we were comfortable she stayed very late to ensure I was happy xxxx farmers next door made noise complaints � there’s always one! But still we moved back in side... gelli did everything to accommodate us and our guests and most of all made our dream wedding come true! Thank you so much! We will be back ����

Would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Gellifawr for all the hard work and effort they put into making our wedding day perfect, staff were so friendly, helpful and very approachable, nothing was ever too much trouble. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding day.

We had our wedding in Gellifawr on Sunday 27th May and we cannot thank Gellifawr enough! Rachel the wedding coordinator listened to all the details that I wanted for the day and everything was set up beautifully.The food was brought out very swiftly and was delicious. Staff were very professional and were more than happy to help on the day. Family and friends have also commented on the beautiful setting, set up and the food. Our day couldn't have been any better.

We had our wedding here on 10th March 2018, we were looking for somewhere to hold a laid back, relaxed wedding in a beautiful setting and that’s exactly what we got! The staff went out of their way to help, especially Rachel the wedding planner, making sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it and everything was perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were more than happy to accommodate any requests we had. We would recommend this venue to anyone, they took all the pressure off us on the day. We had our wedding ceremony and reciption at Gellifawr on 26th May. The venue was amazing and just what were looking for. Rachel was very accommodating when we spoke to her and would get back to us quickly if we had any concerns.We could not thank the other staff enough. We would like to also thank Julie, she was soo lovely she would come to the bridal cottage in the morning to make sure we were ok and kept timings throughout the day, eveb when we went over on timings she would be there with ideas to get things back on track. She helped me with my dress as i couldn't get it to set right after going to the toilet. There were so many amazing touches that made the day amazing. Everyone commented on how it was a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend the venue ! The location is beautiful and will definatly not disappoint. My family and I stayed at gellifawr for the weekend, for my mother's 60th birthday party. We all had an amazing time. I don't think it could have gone any better. The staff were amazing and it was lovely and clean. Anything we needed was there for us to use. I will definitely be coming back to stay.

I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding here yesterday, and would totally recommend this venue if you're getting married here. Not only is the place stunning, it's complimented by the super friendly staff! It makes such a difference that us wedding suppliers are treated like guests too, keep up the good work ❤️

Had our wedding here on St.Patricks Day! What an amazing day we all had. Everything was perfect, from being greeted at the main entrance by Katie our wedding co-ordinater and Julie, right through to the end of the evening. We wanted a relaxed day, and we had just that. Food was great, and our guests all commented on how lovely it was!! Thank you to the whole team on making our day so perfect and special!

Had lovely meal tonight, relaxing setting, attentive staff and gorgeous surroundings.. well worth every penny! We will definitely be back xx

It was the smallest of touches that made our stay so memorable. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Dan and I married on the 13th of May this year. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to all of the team at Gellifawr. After a bit of a shakey start to the initial booking (changing of hands), we eventually sat down with Claire and sorted through everything. Nothing was too much trouble and she welcomed all of our plans and ideas.

The function room had been beautifully decorated and it really complimented our theme, and the wedding food was top notch. So many of our guests have commented on it. Thank you so much for everything, we had a lovely day. Will be sharing some photos with you when we get them back from the photographer.

Beautiful venue in a fabulous setting. We celebrated my sons wedding yesterday and everything was first class!

Everything ran like clockwork, the staff were fabulous and nothing was to much trouble.

Can highly recommend!

Lovely location albeit a little bit off the beaten track. Cottage was hospitable but a very small thing such as there being no plug in the bathroom wash basin and we had a dish washer but a washing machine and a DVD player (especially when you consider how many "rainy" days this part of the world experiences) would be better?? Plus parking appears haphazard? Staff very friendly and helpful and dogs very welcome. Good but "could" be great with just a little bit more attention to detail.

Beautiful setting and great service. Ample parking and lovely grounds. Food was excellent.

However.

We stayed just one night and it was unconnected to any function. The facilities seem more geared to functions though as the merriment went on long into the night which is fine if you are part of the party but not so good if you are trying to get a good night's sleep.

If you are looking for a quiet venue in a woodland location maybe worth checking what else is booked at the time.
