Absolutely appalling aftersales! having bought a hyundai dhy8000slr generator,as our only source of power,on the 'Genpower we are market leaders for quality & aftersales care,innovative,problem solving,overcoming unlimited challenges' the generator arrived damaged,it took 2 weeks for it to be collected & returned,ran for 30 hours & died! They have no aftersales help/trouble shooting outside of office hours,& now expect us to drain of all fluids,tanks being full,repair the pallet it came on,which you have to break to get it off(weighs 250kg),repackage,wait 2-3 days for a courier to turn up to collect(hoping that whoever booked it remembered to tick the box for a tail lift unlike the one who booked its return & then wait another however long for them to fix & return it.When the fault has already been diagnosed & a simple visit from one of there engineers could have it fixed & up running in a matter of hours! & laughingly at less cost to themselves!
Incomprehensible in this day & age that they are refusing to do this!
Do not believe the bumph on their brochure,They have no customer care!

Excellent aftersales department took a couple
Of weeks but they explained they were very busy and appologised.
However I only give the product 3 Stars.
I bought a Hyundai hedge trimmer it's been fixed once
The second time I used it after the repair it broke again.
The drive shaft keeps jumping off the drive wheel.
It's fairly simple to fix but why should you have to.

I bought the Hyundai auger. Just out of the box and the output shaft from the gear box that fits on to the drill bit would not turn at all, it was seized. I striped the gear box and found that the main drive shaft from the clutch was too long by about 0. 5 mm and when assembled essentially seized the gear box. I machined 0.5 mm of the end of the shaft and re-assembled, it was now free to turn. I used the auger and within 10 mins the kill switch stopped working so had to stop the engine with the choke, I replaced the switch with a RS components switch and its working again. Apart from all the above with poor tolerances on parts , the engine is strong and the auger worked well.

on arrival the hyundai hy3600sei seemed on inspection to be a well made unit, but after a short period of time a fault with machines fuel system was present. The machines fuel system would airlock after it had been run and fuel pipe would needed to be separated for it to run again.

Hyundai (genpower) attempted to repair the generator 3 times and failed by this time one year had passed and they agreed to replace the generator.

The replacement generator lasted 1 month before a different fault with the remote control system occurred. After many phone calls and emails a replacement part was sent and fitted but did not correct the fault.

I have decided obtain a refund by small claims from supplier.
