This review is based on experience in the bar for an evening meal upstairs. When we arrived we were seated but then asked to move as this table was now being used by other people. We had no problem moving, however the way this was asked of us was quite rude. All it needed was a "we a really sorry there has been a mix up would you mind moving". Instead it was a rude "you can't sit here now as it is being used". Speed the food came out was good and the younger members of staff that served our food were really polite and made sure we had everything they needed. The children also really appreciated the ice cream toppings they were offered and sweets at the end. The food was okay if slightly overlooked, and the children's sausage chips for £7.50 was expensive. The two older members of staff however who were working on the bar really need to learn some people skills from the younger members of staff as they never smile and were quite blunt. Would have been a very poor customer experience if not for the younger waiter that served us.
Lovely hotel right by the water, we only stopped for a quick bite to eat but would like to one day return for more. We came over the toll bridge for seventy pence which was a bit of fun and parked at the hotel. Staff were attentive and goods very reasonable priced. View is fantastic and we had a pleasant walk near by.
Dropped in for a drink on the way back from Dolgellau. Sat outside to enjoy the view, lovely setting. The food looked good although we didn't eat ourselves.
Went for dinner with the family. We were quite late arriving but the staff were very friendly and accommodating and served us.Food was excellent and we would strongly recommend.
Walker friendly Pub/hotel with lovely views. A couple of well selected ales. Food menu looked wholesome and interesting.
Although cold on the estuary is was a well welcomed drink and rest from the walk along the river.
