Phew ! Just finished prepping the lining for 2 2.5 mtr roman blinds and 5 widths of curtains! Going to have a brisk walk in the sunshine now before it disappears!

Four needles threaded and ready to sew! No I haven’t employed an octopus but makes life much easier when hand sewing a Roman blind to have continuous stitching up the sides .

One of the projects that has been keeping me out of mischief the past couple months! Client wanted a look that came together but wasn’t identical at each window. So went for 5.5 mtr long full length blue stripe linen lined curtains with solid blue full length upholstered pelmet. On the opposite wall a 3 mtr full length curtain and pelmet in blue with 2 Roman Blinds in the blue stripe with a solid blue border to tie the room together.

Loving this Fabric for a Roman blind! A denim blue stripe with a band of blue trim.

It’s cold out so get into the warm at the craft fair Criccieth 11-3

Fabric arrived only to find a printing flaw 3/4 into the roll! a lesson in not cutting until you have checked the whole order! Please tell me carrying, unrolling and refolding 39 mtr s of fabric counts as a mini work out!

Buying off the internet is great for lots of purchases. Hopefully if what you think your buying isn’t quite what you receive you see the funny side!
