Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund

We are raising money to provide respite for children and families by providing short breaks, residential holidays, holiday clubs and after school and weekend clubs. We are also providing small grants for families in need. Please help us raise money by attending our Easter Fair. We will be having a bottle and chocolate tombola, cake stall, book and bric - a - brac stall, teddy tombola, games and competitions. FREE ENTRY, all are welcome!

Arrival from 7pm with the meal due to start at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now from school priced at £13.99 per person. This includes poppadoms, starter, a choice of curry, a side and naan bread. We are asking for a £5 deposit to secure your place with full payment due Monday 1st April. As places are limited, we cannot secure your booking without a deposit.

We are holding a Curry Night fundraiser on Wednesday 3rd April at Usha, Burnley from 7pm. Tickets are priced at £13.99 and include poppadoms, starter, a choice of curry, side and naan bread. There will be a chance of winning a bottle of prosecco, and a raffle to win a hamper on the night. All money raised will go directly into The Georgia Fourie Butterly Fund. We require a £5 deposit to secure your ticket with full payment due Monday 1St April. Letters to parents will be sent out this week with all the information. A massive thank you to our founder and co-chairperson Melanie Isaacs Fourie and her family for their amazing generosity and for thinking of the children who benefit from Georgia's fund, at this difficult time. They have raised over £2000 that will make a huge difference to the charity and allow us to help more children and their families. We are pleased to say we have raised an amazing £1860 at our Peaky Blinders Casino night!! This will enable us to provide respite breaks for our pupils. A huge thank you to all our supporters. A huge thank you to everyone who supported or attended our charity night on Friday night. It was a big success and we raised lots of money. Thanks to all the hard working staff of Holly Grove School who gave up their Friday night to make sure the night ran smoothly. Thanks to the Peaky Blinders: Nick who compered and ran the horseracing, Ross for keeping us entertained with his singing, Connor M on the tombola, Stephen for the music and Connor B, Stephen, Jack, Connor M and N...ick for being good sports and joining in the staff dance! Thanks to the flapper girls Angie, Susan, Clare and Joanne for all their hard work in organising the night, year after year and putting on another fantastic dance. Thanks to Layla for stepping into Katie's shoes so well with all her hard work being the scenes. Thanks to Cheryl for all her hard work getting prizes and helping with the tombola. Thanks to Tracey and Rebecca for feeding everyone! Thanks to Georgia and Eleanor for going round and hassling you all to spend your money and Joseph for helping with the quiz and raffle! Last but not least thanks to you all for coming along and joining in and helping us raise lots of money. Keep your eyes peeled after half term for the grand total raised. It's that time of year again...Holly Grove are hosting their 9th Annual Charity Night and this year we are going back to 1920 and the world of Peaky Blinders! Come and join us at our fun filled night at Ighten Mount Bowling Club on Friday 19th October from 7pm where you will be able to pit your wits against the Peaky Blinders with horse racing bets and 3 casino tables. There will also be bottles of alcohol/chocolate to win, live music, a raffle and of course the infamous 'sta...ff dance'! Tickets cost £10 which include £5 worth of chips to use on the casino tables and hot dogs. Have a gamble as the more chips you win the better the prize you can bid on in the auction, as we host our first ever 'cash free' auction where you bid for prizes using only your chips!
