A spot of DIY at Brownies tonight!

What a great first week back! So lovely to see the girls. We welcomed 3 new Rainbows, Emma went under the Rainbow and we look forward to welcoming her into Brownies and Freya, Poppy, Lena and Kara had their last night at Brownies and we look forward to seeing them at Guides next week!

2020 got off to a great start with a leaders party last night! We are looking forward to seeing the girls when all sections resume this week. Rainbows, Guides and Rangers on Tuesday and Brownies on Thursday. Let's see what adventures 2020 has in store for us!

What an amazing year 2019 has been for 7th Barrhead! Far too much to mention it all. A lovely Thinking Day event at which Renee's Guiding Star was awarded for the first time, two pack holidays for Brownies, a Guide Camp, Barrhead rainbow run and a sleepover..a trip to Disneyland Paris for 7 of us, Rainbows enjoying a day at Heads of Ayr, a fun filled day at Netherurd, a trip to the cinema and much much more. All this on top of the fun and friendship every Tuesday and Thursday. Rainbows are leading the way with badgework - leaders can't keep up with them! We can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for us!

Guides and Rangers in 7th Barrhead are looking forward to an evening ice skating with our guiding friends from across East Renfrewshire county. Hope I can still skate!

Congratulations to Susan Thomson who received her 30 years service award for service to Girlguiding. Susan has been a leader with 7th Barrhead Guides for 30 years and is also a Rainbow leader.
