This hospital was amazing to my dad he was on holiday at the time back in September and had breathing problems the staff on the a and e department were very thorough and explained everything that they was doing especially the chap from Liverpool I think.his name was Chris.
He was then put on ward 10 were they were amazing too I cannot fault this hospital for the staff and the cleanliness of the hospital
Keep up the fantastic job that you are doing.

Poor poor service here. Waited 8 hours in a and e with a screaming daughter who had been sick, stomach pains, headache, not eating and worse not drinking. Side effects of a new drug ethosuximide on our 5 year old daughter making her very ill. Classed as a non urgent. Doctors didn't know anything about this drug and was annoyed we were there which inspires confidence. Anyway given movicol for constipation. No other checks. Meanwhile we waited with the parent of a 4 mth old baby that was bleeding badly on her foot. The baby wasn't seen for over 6 hours. No blankets or spare nappies was provided for them. Another patient managed to get blankets for us. No toys to play with either, might aswell of waited in the main adults area. No hot drinks unless you wanted locking out of the children's waiting room. No confidence in this hospital and were usually in the children's outpatients on a regular basis.

My partner was admitted for chronic joint pain caused by an adverse effect from an infusion for Crohn’s disease. They wouldn’t treat her because the records for her illness were based at the Countess of Chester. The doctor simply accused her of not being in pain. Dosed-up and drowsy on morphine, they unplugged her from the saline drip and told her to get a taxi. Animals get treated better.

absoloitely TERRIBLE hospital. the staff are AWFUL so rude. not helpful. 9 hours in a and e with spinal cord injury is UNACCEPTABLE. especially when after the 9 hours in a STORAGE CUPBOARD because they "had no room" for me i spent a week being verbally abused and intimidated by staff and was given absoloutely NO HELP or treatment until i eventually signed myself out. the consultants are a DISGRACE as are their secreataries who NEVER answer the phone. 3 months of being ignored by urology receptionist led to bladder collapse and lofe long damage. no apology just more rudeness. i only got through after 3 months because i rang the switchboard asling to be put through to any department APART from urology and after being transferred on an internal call it was answered qithin the first ring by said secratary PROVING not only was she by the phone but that they only answer to internal calls from colleagues. it is a VERY sad state of affairs when you have to CON your consultant and his colleagues innto doing the job they are paid to do. there are HUNDREDS of counts of neglect from this hospital the rest of which i cannot mention due to legal reasons. please AVOID THIS HELL HOLE AT ALL COSTS.

This hospital provides care beyond what you may expect including the private sector.
My wife admitted through the rapid assessment unit in April 2017 received ECG , X-rays, blood tests, urine tests and was on intovenus antibiotic drips within a couple of hours from arrival.
Over the next few weeks she went on to have CT scan and got the results within 2 hours followed by bronchoscope within a few days.
The care and attention given by all staff from all grades is second to none and we will fight the corner for this hospital which comes under fire all to often.
We had the same experience last year when my wife was admitted with acute kidney failure.
Due to my wife's health conditions we will have to move house from being remote to more urban.
The main priority given to our new home selection will be it must be in the Glan Clywdd hospital encatchment area.
We thank you all
Best wishes
Sheila and Ian

If it was possible to give this place 0 stars i would. Made my father who is in his 70s wait for more than 6 hrs in the AE dept to be told theres nothing they can do. He needs an mri scan to diagnose a possible old reoccurring illness but nope bloods are fine so he gets sent home. I just hope for their sake there right.

Ambulance crew and general Nursing and Hca staff amazing can't fault the men and ladies there, kind considerate and caring as they should be in that profession-consultants on the other hand and ANE doctors-what the hell kind of doctor puts an actual plastic bag over the nose and mouth of a patient with breathing difficulties?
