Glanllyn Caravan & Camping Park

Facilities are really good, mostly clean, showers are included in price. Great views of the lake Bala. Friendly staff.

**WARNING** The owner of this campsite is very rude and aggressive. Without introducing herself she started rudely integrating me about what caravan I was using. On another occasion she started shouting at my children for wasting water. A normal person would talk to the parents first before upsetting children in this way but for some reason this lady speeds around the site in her car looking to upset the kids. She is an elderly lady who obviously is not enjoying her job and I would suggest she retired and pass on the job to a person that can appreciate people on there holidays.

We have spent 5 nights here really nice site well kept good showers, toilets etc ideal location very friendly staff nothing was a bother I would highly recommend

Experience should have been wonderful but was really dampened by the site's attitude to groups. Setting and facilities fine. Myself and five friends wanted somewhere to use as a base for walks and quietly play board games in the evening but were heavily questioned upon booking. I paid £120 for six people in one tent and spent the whole weekend feeling quite harassed by the owners. I understand the need to protect your business and the families staying on the site but the owners should take care to treat everyone at face value.

I will make sure to book the other camp site along the lake before it is booked up next time I want to go to Bala with a group.

This is a great site. Little larger than most we have stayed on but even on a bank holiday weekend we didn't feel packed it and the facilities were good and clean. Nice location next to the lake. Worth a visit.

Lovely campsite, amazing pitch by the river and very close to the centre of Bala. People were very friendly and helpful, check in was extremely quick and painless, only gripe was the family playing a didgeridoo at 1 in the morning (who even has a didgeridoo?) Would recommend and return.

Fantastic site and amazing views. Easy 3 mile walk into Bala town. Lovely owners. Generally quiet but can be a little rowdy at busy weekends.
