About Glansevern Hall Gardens
Romantically positioned on the banks of the River Severn in Mid Wales, Glansevern Hall Gardens offer over 25 acres of spectacular landscape and planting.
Glansevern Hall Gardens Description
Glansevern Hall Gardens re-opened under a new team at the beginning of April 2014.
The spectacular estate comprises a variety of garden attractions, such as the enormous lake, a cascading Water Garden, lakeside and woodland walks, the more formal Walled Garden, the charming Folly Garden and the secluded Bird Hide, set where the Severn meets the Rhiw. On your visit to Glansevern you can enjoy exceptional food, courtesy of The Potting Shed Café, which is situated in the picturesque Georgian courtyard and which offers a stylish, atmospheric and friendly place to relax and savour delicious dishes. Furthermore, The Chic Shed Shop at the Visitor Entrance stocks a beautiful and original selection of garden-inspired gifts, plants and flowers.

Gardens: Tuesday to Saturday, 10: 30am – 5pm, 3rd April – 31st Oct (weather permitting)
The Potting Shed Café and Chic Shed Shop: Tuesday to Saturday, 10: 30am – 5pm, year round from 1st April 2014

Adults £7. 00
Children (under 12) £3. 50
Family (2 adults 3 children) £17. 00
Group visits £6 per person. Minimum group size 15 adults. Booking required.
If you are local or likely to be a regular visitor to Glansevern Hall Gardens, we highly recommend that you become a Friend of Glansevern. For £35 per year (the equivalent of five garden visits), you will receive free entry to the Gardens throughout the open season, as well as the added benefit of our ‘bring a friend for free’ scheme: just present your Friend of Glansevern card at the reception desk and sign in the visitors book, and you and one friend can enjoy the beautiful Gardens free of charge. You can sign up to become a Friend of Glansevern instantly at the Visitor Entrance, or send us your name, contact details and a cheque payable to Glansevern Hall Partnership, and we will send you your card and membership pack. Really enjoyed our visit. The gardens are tranquil and beautiful, staff were friendly and the food was really tasty and interesting/different.
I haven't seen the gardens for 2 or 3 month. I brought a friend with me jesterday a wow, how lovely with most of the plants in bloom.
We had a yummy lunch first and then walked all the calories off around the lake.
My friend was most impressed.
