Glenwood Church Cardiff Description
Glenwood is not just a church; we are a growing community.
As a community we believe in actively taking a role in our area of society and we currently run, or have links with, over 30 projects. In various ways, we provide support, share the Gospel, offer fellowship, advice, a home, a hot meal or simply a listening ear to those around us. In this way we hope to grow as a mission-focussed church – always looking outward, and seeking to bring about God’s Kingdom on earth.

Soccer School 2019 is all wrapped up but we can't sign off before giving a MASSIVE shout out to all our volunteers who make it possible!
We have a fantastic teams of coaches (see happy photo!), admin team (who are always reluctant to be photographed!) and an army of people who supply cakes daily for mid morning snacks for all participants.
Our volunteers are amazing and Soccer School would not happen without them, so a huge thank you to each and everyone whatever role you played. Now looking forward to 2020!!!
Day 2 of Soccer School and this lovely bunch have been amazing!
It's hard to believe Soccer School was started 20 years ago thanks to Kelvin Tohme and Ian Sutton. So many football boots have gone through our doors over the last 20 years - what a privilege!
Kelvin visited recently and what a great photo opportunity with the original Soccer School leaders and our 2019 leaders, Matt and Alan.
We are so grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for a development grant that gives us the opportunity to explore and develop our Wellbeing Space building project.
The proposed Wellbeing Space will be an annex at the front of Glenwood Church Centre. The 500 sq.m of extra space will allow us to develop new provisions, as well as our current activities, that will complement the services of other local providers such as Cardiff Council Hubs - Llanedeyrn Powerhouse
We... are pleased to be partnering with Llan Healthcare on the social prescription provision and supporting the health and wellbeing of our communities.
We are excited to share the building plans which will also include some extra car parking spaces. There is a display up in the Centre if you want to pop in and have a look.
