What a lovely local pub and the lady was nice friendly to us all. Even made some of our group a cuppa tea which was what we needed after our walk up the hill. Such a lovely place to visit

We had the most gorgeous roast here today and 2 lovely puddings! Ran by the most friendly and welcoming people! If you’re looking for a cosy pub with lovely food then this is the one! Would definitely recommend!

Good wholesome home cooked food- take out recommended!

So nice to find a place that caters for vegans. Had a lovely meal and a vegan pudding which is a rare treat!! Owners were more than happy to change a dish to vegan if possible. I would highly recommend The Globe to veggies and vegans. (Had 2 meat eaters with me that also really enjoyed their meal!) Will defo be back for the sunday roast!

Lovely takeaway Sunday roast. All food was fresh and very tasty. A lot of food too which was great � I had the beef and it was cooked perfectly. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Loved it, was in there last night waiting for the boat with 3 other band members of mine and we had the best crack with the staff and locals

How to describe the Globe? Sunday me and er decided to have Sunday lunch in the Globe. the place was busy so I found myself behind the bar helping pull beers, while the other half was taking food orders!



The food is great, try the pizza night - Brian makes a mean pizza dough from scratch. Jeans Thai curries are fantastic. Their sunday lunches are legendary. Vegetablists are properly catered for too, not just a token couple of dishes.



Brian and Jean are great people, but don't expect the Welsh Tourist Board manual. People are made welcome here becuse they really are welcome and not because it says you have to put on a plastic smile in the manual!!



Is that enough Jean? Do I get a free pint now?

Great little pub. We were hoping to eat there but the chef had gone on holiday so the barman invited us to go get a takeaway and bring it back. On arriving back we found a table had been laid for us. Very friendly and chilled. Thanks for the hospitality �

Excellent traditional Sunday lunch with the locals. Toastie warm log burner and lovely atmoshere, well worth visit.
