Gavin John

Gloss photography UK, first started as an idea to bring London style contemporary photography to Wales. On February 5th 2007 we opened our first High Street studio in Pentre, Rhondda Valleys. After a flying start to the business we were hit by the credit crunch and decided to close the studio and focus our efforts on sustaining the web business.

A year later the web business has become a success. With the new website up and running we have started to become a main competitor as a wedding photographic business in South Wales.

Gavin John, became interested in photography at Tonypandy Community College. In 2009 he became a member of the SWPP, (society of wedding and portrait) and SIFGP (Society of International Fashion & Glamour. Throughout the years Gavin John has had the chance to work with some of the best photographers in the business, including names such as John Newman and Martin Paterson.

He can still be found living in Rhondda Valleys with his 6 year old son Bailey John.



Wedding Day Services
Package 1 = £475

This covers the core aspect of your wedding from arrival at the wedding venue through the ceremony, group photo’s and Bride and Groom alone photo’s

Package 2 = £550

This includes package 1 and adds Bridal preparations (wherever the bride is getting ready) and extended stay until the wedding breakfast.

Package 3 = £750

This includes package 1 and 2, and adds all day coverage up until first dance
(often around 9pm)

All three packages include:

1. Digital wedding album
2. CD with all images in high resolution with copyright to print.
3. 16” x 12” Print of your choice
4. An online gallery

All consultations are free and a great way to meet the photographer and view samples.


Deposit of £100 to be paid once the wedding contract is signed
(Non refundable)
(Full payment when you are presented with your album and products)
