What an amazing morning loved it, highly recommend it ��

Thank you so much for the abseil we did earlier today, even if I wasn’t aware of it til I got there!! Both Trevor and myself enjoyed it and will definitely be booking again with you. Great instructor who makes u feel at ease, fabulous views and it was great learning things about the surrounding area. AAAAAA

Such amazing experiences to be had with Matt. He’s extremely knowledgable - and very helpful. For people who have never even used a rope, to more experienced people, I can guarantee you’ll have a great time with Matt!

Received a surprise fathers day present which was a via ferrata and abseil on the Great Orme. Matt was very knowledgable with a calming nature, which is a good job, as I'm not great with heights. I felt totally safe at all times and actually really enjoyed the abseiling. Thanks Matt.

Really enjoyed my trip on the Orme, well worth it!

Our two 11 year olds have today had a 4-hour session with Matt from Great Orme Vertical. (Due to the poor weather conditions, we used the indoor facilities at at Indy Climbing Wall at LlanfairPG, which were great). From start to finish the whole thing was so professional, informative, safe and well-run. Matt was very responsive and flexible to our original enquiry and was very accommodating of our kids’ complete beginner status!



Matt has such a cool, calm and encouraging manner, and we all felt very at ease with him. He showed the girls and us how to tie the knots, do the harnesses and everything needed to ensure they were safe when climbing. He selected appropriate levels of difficulty of climbs, and encouraged them to think about where they needed to be putting their feet and hands to make the best progress. He also demonstrated when needed. They had a go at pretty much everything that there was at the indoor centre, and Matt gave us lots of information about climbing organisations etc for us to look up when we get home.



We would recommend Matt 100% to everybody. His enthusiasm and passion for the sport of climbing really shone through. He has opened our eyes to a whole new world of climbing that we never knew existed........I am even wondering if I am perhaps not too old to start climbing after all!

No better way to spend a Saturday evening! Went on a sunset abseil with Matt and it was such an awesome experience! Lots of fun and laughs and fantastic views! Matt was a great instructor, very clear and made sure you had the best time. Will 100% be going again and I can’t recommend it enough!

Matt looked after us really well with a good balance of a keen eye on safety without it feeling like we were getting lectured by the health & safety brigade! A great evening had by all - thanks!

Having the evening abseil tailored to just our family group of 5 was really personal and enjoyable for the whole family. Thankyou Matt for putting up with us changing the dates numerous times. Really recommend this as something to do as the views off the Orme were breathtaking.

Had the most amazing time today!!! Matt is a brilliant instructor, very reassuring and very knowledgeable!!! We learnt the techniques on some practice ropes first before going on to the abseil, so we knew exactly what we needed to do. The descent was fantastic, very exciting and had an epic time! Some wonderful pictures as well Matt, thanks so much! Shall definitely be returning soon!!! Thanks again!!
