A lone tree, left to perish. Canopy damage is an increasing threat, caused by damage to the crown of our native broad leaves, by grey squirrels.

The result, a humanely dispatched Grey Squirrel.

A small amount of lure at the entrance of the trap tunnel helps with initial interaction and familiarisation.

The lure should protrude slightly from the lure basket, ensuring the Hazelnut scent fills the trap tunnel.

Place a small amount of lure within the lure Basket, not the screw top cover. This ensures bait presentation nearest to the trap entrance.

A well connected canopy. These trees are great to trap grey squirrels on.

A veteran hardwood tree with a rough/course bark and interlinked canopy is a great place for your A18GS. Closed tree canopies create aerial wildlife corridors; grey squirrels can move freely and safely through these. Ensure the understory around the tree is clear, squirrels feel safer when they have a clear view of potential threats/predators.
