We celebrated a friend's 50th birthday here last night: it was amazing. The food was outstanding and the service we had was fabulous. They really couldn't do enough for us, and it made a good evening into a great evening. Thank you so much

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful�

Themed nights are great ( Mexican tonight) . The American one was lovely too. A tasty well kept pint of real ale suited us when we called the other evening plus ordered from the dinner menu and it was very reasonable and enjoyed the whitebait and scampi . Very pleasant staff.

Stopped here with friends last night and what an absolute find! We had a warm welcome by staff who could not do enough for us. We love to try different places to eat and this by far is the best place I have eaten in months. Everything was fresh and was served piping hot. I'm not usually one for leaving review but I was so impressed with this little jewel it's the least I can do. Not only was the food five star but the waitress who served us was so polite and efficient it made our visit even better. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be returning very very soon �

Stopped here on the way home from a visit this evening and the food was absolutely AMAZING! Will definitely be back again! Loved it! The waitress was also so, so lovely! Thank you!

Stayed as a quick stop , did not expect the standard of the food to be absolutely exquisite , first class very recommended. Friendly and welcoming

So we were lucky enough to win the Valentine’s Day competition, a three course meal for two, I haven’t been here for a few years (since the days of Luke) lovely setting, table was decorated nicely, the service was great, helpful and friendly staff, the food was amazing, portion sizes great, the steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you to everyone at the goose and cuckoo for a lovely evening, we will definitely be coming back to see you again soon. Thank’s again Neil and Marie ��

Had a meal here Friday 12th January 2018. It was excellent. We had the steak pie and salmon. Sooo tasty. Couldn't recommend it enough. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Had Sunday Lunch with my son on Sunday just passed, absolutely loved it. Great food, great service. Many thanks. Will definitely be bringing family next time.

Excellent prepared dishes, large choice of all sorts, friendly servants, all you would not expect in a small village like this.

Excellent meal once again. Staff second to none. Back next week. Wifey enjoyed their special, Bream with prawn and garlic sauce.

Called in on the off chance for lunch. Very friendly and accommodating. Two of us are gluten free and as we couldn't have the fries they cooked us some chipped potatoes instead. Reasonably priced and delicious.
