The date is set for the 5th Gorseinon Food Festival which is to be held on Saturday 26th of April 2014, at the Canolfan, Gorseinon.
This year, the Festival will focus on 'Real Food for Real People' our aim is to bring the best selection of Welsh food producers under one roof (well, marquee! ) and offer something for everyone. It really is amazing to see how many well regarded producers are within a 50 mile radius of Gorseinon. We believe a food festival is a great opportunity for the public to meet food producers and ask those really important questions; 'What is in it?', 'How do you make it?', 'What are the benefits of me feeding this to my family?'. Who better to ask than the primary producer themselves?!
After the success of last years food demonstrations, we've already dedicated two halls to hold these events for 2014, so our visitors will have the peace and comfort to enjoy the demonstrations away from the food marquee. These events will be free and we have some very exciting foodie guests lined up for the demonstrations! More to follow on that. . .
