I was in York on Saturday for the opening of the SSI's Divine Inspiration exhibition in the Chapter House of York Minster. It was good to catch up with fellow calligraphers and even better to see so many wonderful pieces of calligraphy. Go and see it if you can!

'Every Blade Of Grass': a quotation from The Talmud which will also be in the Divine Inspiration exhibition.

'Bede': An autobiographical passage and prayer from The Ecclesiatical History Of The English People by the Venerable Bede. This will be in the Divine Inspiration exhibition in September.

Winners of a Vauxhall competition who watched the Wales national team training before the Euros were presented with a group photo as a memento of the day. Gower Calligraphy wrote their names on the photo mounts. Wales have done fantastically so far - keep it up and good luck against Belgium! #WALBEL
