Gower Getaways

Had a fabulous weekend away with my partner and we will definitely be booking with Gower Getaways again. The cottage was cosy, kept immaculately clean and we slept like babies! Staff were brill and gave us some great tips, if only they could control the weather! 😄

I have to say. The Gower getaway's team could not have been more helpful. The accommodations was of a very high standard and the information we received was very helpful in making our holiday enjoyable.
We would certainly recommend to family and friends. And are looking forward to our next trip :-)

We took a trip to Swansea with our Daughter and stayed in one of Gower Getaways Holiday cottages. I have to say we couldn't have been happier. Top quality service straight from the off with the staff being very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was clean & fresh when we arrived and was everything you would expect from a sea side cottage. Loads of things to see and do around the Mumbles area, and spoilt for choice with dining options. We will definitely be going back and would most certainly recommend.

DISGUSTING On arrival at our accommodation we found mice droppings in the kitchen, conservatory and hallway. Carpet moths had destroyed the bedroom carpet, you could see the larvae. There was blood and hair in the double bed. There was dirty laundry and rubbish left by the previous occupants. The list is endless. It was filthy. We could not stay there and wouldn't have even if it was free! Needed Environmental Health in there, not just a cleaner (cleaning company they use by the way is owned by them too, so don't be caught by the £150 securing bond they make you pay). No alternative accommodation offered, no refund offered, no apology. Left stranded with our two children in Wales at 10:30pm on a bank holiday weekend. Our holiday was totally ruined. They didn't return our calls, texts or emails. We had to go through Paypal to get our money back. Paypal were brilliant and we got a full refund. Sadly I have to give them at least one star to be able to post my review. It should give you a zero star option.
