Gower Guiding - Bass Fishing Guide For Gower & North Pembrokeshire

Well worth the 1 hour walk out to this iconic Gower bass mark this morning - 40+ bass from 1st cast to last. Fish everywhere, on the surface and down deeper! Lets hope these juvenile fish are allowed to mature with no commercial ‘interference’!

After a great day out on one of the big flats close to the Barrier Reef chasing and hooking up on over 20 bonefish all about the 3lb mark, next day we got stuck into some nice snook from Monkey River which were hungry to munch my fly!
Let’s hope the bass are as hungry this coming summer on Gower and down in Pembrokeshire!

I am currently in Belize fishing and this monster keeps taking our Tuna!
Have fished here for many years now and still enjoy seeing things like this house made from Conch shells out on the Sapodilla Cayes, not too far from the Barrier Reef!

There are plenty of fly fishing instructors about an a lot of informative videos on youtube enabling those who want to self teach much easier.Your local tackle shops will also advise you about individuals or organisations that will help you take up this adictive style of sea angling.Even your local trout fisheries will have people who will help you and advise you on tackle choice etc. So pop into your local tackle shop and get some advice on what gear is best to suit your budget as you start off on this new era of sea angling,which I can asure you that once you feel that bass rip your fly line off the reel and head out through the surf,you will wonder why you did not start 'sportfishing' years ago. Think 'catching not killing' and do your bit to preserve this precious gift we all have been given;fine sporting fish that in the future will give you and yours years of angling enjoyment.
