Gower Salt Marsh Lamb Description
The Gower Peninsula lies to the west of Swansea, jutting out into the Bristol Channel, it is Britain's very first 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The Northern shore consists of a large Salt Marsh covering about 4000 acres of land within the Burry /Loughor Estuary.
The sheep graze on this tidal marsh and gain their main nourishment from this unique pasture, which consists of salt marsh grasses, Samphire, Sorrel, Sea Lavender and Thrift. This gives the Lamb a very special flavour that is sought after by chefs and food connoisseurs alike.
We are proud to have won many prestigious awards such as the Great Taste Awards, National Trust Fine Farm produce awards, and True Taste of Wales.

Wow. The burgers are amazing! Real depth of flavour with a hint of herbs - tender, juicy and with a sweet finish. I cannot wait to use some leg meat in a traditional cawl. We will be back for more :-)
We have just watched Countryfile to support our local lamb supplier, Rowland. This IS THE BEST Lamb in the world! I went and bought my supply from here on Friday. So please support this business and enjoy the lovely lamb...they post it out too !

Made my dads birthday one to remember as he has wanted Salt Marsh Lamb since he was little.
Our lamb arrived today, well packed, straight in the freezer apart from some cutlets, on the BBQ tonight, accompanied with new potatoes, asparagus and samphire, died and gone to heaven.
Love the meat from here!

Just had our leg of lamb that we bought yesterday. Mmmmmmm yum.
Jus had a delivery looks really fresh meat and excellent quality, had meat from Gower before and it was sublime in quality and taste. Highly recommended. Go for it you will not be disappointed.
I drove the 180 miles from Anfield @lfc to source the best taste of wales.... Only using Gower Salt Marsh Lamb for my Healthy low calorie Engineering working mans menu that can help them lower cholesterol and trim theyre weight ....I only use the best ....Thanks Will and your lovely family for your exceptional hospitality and insight to your passion.

Have recently come across this farm in Wales. I ordered thru their online shop. The products arrived within the stated time and well packaged.
The Leg of lamb cooked well and tasted great,the Barnsley chops went down well too.
Leg steaks took little cooking and little fat. Would recommend this lamb to anyone.
Had a warm welcome and wonderful tour of the farm, castle and Marsh Land.
Cannot wait to try the new season lamb!
