When silage season has kept one of your farmers out of church for a few weeks you park on his yard, follow the tractor sounds a mile or so over the hill and spend an hour or two on the dicky seat in the cab encouraging one another in the faith. #ruralchaplain #livingmydream https://t.co/NHImkdqlpy
"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Colossians 3:13
Please take a moment today to watch this very short video and pray for preachers in the light of what it says? I will be preaching and speaking to our East Wales friends about rural pioneer mission this evening at Malpas Road Evangelical Church NP20 5PJ from 7.30 p.m. Please pray and if you are in the area come and hear about the spiritual situation in rural Wales, what we've been doing and where we are heading. You'll be made welcome! (But whatever you're doing tonight, plea...se pray for preachers preparing their sermons today, ok?!) 😀

Fed up with what you see of organised religion? You may not be the only one! Here's thirty minutes on Who Jesus actually is and what Jesus actually does. Let us know how you get on with it!
Verse for the day: "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" Isaiah 40:31 We'll get together to do that in Ty'r Bugail, 4 Market Square Llandovery, SA20 0AA at 2.30 for 3 p.m. start today. The tea and (GREAT) coffee are free and there's free cake too! What's stopping you?! ;-)
Twenty seven minute podcast featuring the Ty'r Bugail all stars ... 'What we REALLY need - Phenomenal Fathering'. Father's Day is tough for many of us. Here's the Biblical antidote. https://buff.ly/2Ko38oT
Today 2.7 million parents in the UK live in lone parent families, 1.1 m live with no father anywhere in their lives and almost half (48%) of children born today will be living with both parents at the age of 15 (Centre for Social Justice 2017) There are glorious exceptions but it is well documented that generally this has long lasting social, cognitive and psychological long term effects on the people it affects. We all have our own experience of fathering and fatherhood, and... it can be less than optimal. But today we celebrate what fatherhood and fathering CAN be ... so I offer you this link to demonstrate that there is a better way. However Fathers Day hits you ... the vision set out in this article is amazing, and the fathering of God which it reflects through just one human example is really pretty inspiring! https://www.desiringgod.org/…/10-unforg ettable-lessons-on-f…

The Big Picture - Colossians podcast. Forty minutes on the importance of singing the song ...
Here's some helpful stuff from Navigators on reading the Bible one to one with a friend who doesn't believe it yet. https://www.navigators.org/…/invite-fri ends-to-read-the-b…/… This Sunday at Ty'r Bugail we'll be looking at The Big Picture - Colossians, but will give some time to Rico Tice explaining the significance of reading the Bible 1-2-1 with a friend, and demo some stuff that makes it both easy and good friendship- building fun! Believe it! Sunday, 2.30 p.m. for 3 at Ty'r Bugail ... don't miss it!
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father – Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world" 1 John 2:1
Forty minute podcast from Y GRWP and the Ty'r Bugail crew on how Paul teaches the Philippians to live 'Christianly' in hard places
You may or may not be aware of the circumstances of Rev John Parker's difficulty with his superiors in the C of E and the action he has subsequently taken, but this (his resignation letter) is an exemplary illustration of Christian integrity and grace, IMHO, giving due thought to the needs of the people around him. Give this a read, and then let's remember this man in our prayers? https://www.premierchristianity.com/…/R ead-the-letter-from-…
Did you ever suppose Jesus calling Himself 'The Son of Man' means He isn't really God? This animation unpacks what that name MEANS ... it's a fascinating watch! https://youtu.be/z6cWEcqxhlI
Jesus, telling it to His followers like it is: "‘I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
Here's my latest 'Good enough for Agriculture' six minute video on dealing with the churning in a farmer's (or anyone else's) heart
