From the seaside to a stone circle. One of our favourite walks starts in the streets of Barmouth and climbs into the hills to visit the legendary stones of Cerrig Arthur. The views are outstanding and we can spot our home on its rocky perch overlooking the Mawddach estuary for much of the way. #Barmouth #Mawddach #Snowdonia #getoutside #findyourepic @ Barmouth

If you’re looking for a Bank Holiday hideaway, Idris yurt is hard to beat. Took this today on the morning walk- just listen to that birdsong.
The rest of our site is fully booked for the bank holiday but you wouldn’t know it if you’re staying in this secluded spot. Trees and mountains all around you and the seaside just a few minutes down the road.
Idris is available from Friday 24 - Monday 27 May for £295. Latest arrival time on Friday is 8pm. Please call 01341 250482 if you would like to book or book online quoting offer and we will apply the discount.

The Guardian is right - we are lucky that you can reach and explore our area via one of the most spectacular train rides in Britain. We can arrange to collect you from our local train station at Morfa Mawddach. If you bring your bike you can cycle the Mawddach Trail from the station.
Our glamping accommodation such as our new Shepherd’s Hut is especially good for those arriving on public transport. Everything is provided for you to make meals and you can pre-order breakfast hampers or croissant.

We are so lucky to have miles of unspoilt and clean beaches on our doorstep. And there’s always room for dogs on large parts of our local beaches year round. Might need to go down for a paddle ourselves later it’s so lovely and warm!

"I feel like I'm in a dream" said a new guest this morning as she explored the site in the sunshine. What a lovely thing to hear! Here's a few snaps taken around the site this morning.
We've got some fantastic deals on late availability at the moment with 10% off full prices for all glamping until Friday 24th May. Check out the Late Breaks link below and share away with anyone who can escape to the Snowdonia coast in this beautiful weather.

After a busy weekend we took to the hills yesterday , rhinog fach circuit. Great walk and one we would highly recommend if you want to get away from it all. Plenty of Wild goats with the kids and luckily enough to see a cuckoo .

First BBQ at the Shepherd’s Hut with friends last night. Good company and lovely listening to the cuckoo calling around us. We sat outside keeping warm by the fire bowl and watched the solar fairy lights twinkle on in the dark. Lucky to be able to enjoy what our guests experience. #shepherdshut #glamping #Mawddach #Snowdonia #northwalestagram

Beautiful start to the bank holiday weekend here on Snowdonia’s Mawddach Estuary. Its lovely to see tents back on the camping fields. A big welcome to all our guests.
We’ve still got a couple of tent pitches available from tomorrow and a yurt with wood burner and cosy blankets if you’re thinking it’s too cold to camp. Book online or call 01341 259482
Happy holiday weekend!

Looks like the guys had a great day cycling along the Mawddach Trail yesterday. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Friends of Graig Wen - can you help these guys? After a night with us they are visiting the Mawddach Estuary today on their road trip through Wales and their challenge is to find the best places to stop for views on the Estuary, ice cream and a pint. Where's your favourite?

We're busy getting our tent camping fields ready for re-opening for the season on Wednesday. The bluebells are out in drifts under the oak trees and it's looking beautiful down there.
If you're planning a trip to the Snowdonia mountains and coast for the bank holiday, tent pitches are still available for the bank holiday weekend for 2 night minimum bookings including a few you can park next to. If you want to camp surrounded by bluebells, then ask for the pitch called Mo...nk's Corner.
Our two pop-up yurts, Tommy and Idris, are also available for the bank holiday weekend. This week we move Idris yurt down to it's secluded summer location hidden away on the lower fields.
You can book online or call us on 01341 250482

It’s Machynlleth Comedy Festival next weekend, just 25 minutes drive from Graig Wen. Tickets are available for shows as well as lots of free stuff including music in the big top. It’s a lively and colourful weekend when Machynlleth really buzzes.
We’ve got the odd yurt, B&B room and camping pitches still available for the bank holiday if you want to come along for a laugh!

We've welcomed the first few families to our new Shepherd's Hut over the Easter break. We hope they have all had a great stay and have made some improvements as a result of a few suggestions. We are very happy to see one family has kindly recommended the Shepherd's Hut on Trip Advisor. Many thanks!

We’ve had an Easter party ball in the sunshine at Graig Wen today. Little Evie aged 3 led the Easter egg hunt all the way. Eight year old Tomas beat the competitive Dads in the egg and spoon races and Suvi arrived from The Netherlands just in time to smash the egg rolling tournament.
Big thanks to youngsters Mireille and Elodie for organising a wonderful party and all our guests who came along.
