About Green Links Cic, Glan Y Mor Farm

Raising Achievement Through Vocational Training in Pembrokeshire.

Green Links Cic, Glan Y Mor Farm Description

Green Links Community Interest Company was established in 2006 by Adam Cumine and Shirley Wilczynski in response to an identified need for additional, high quality vocational skills training in Pembrokeshire.

Over the last eight years this successful social enterprise has grown to become a leading provider of vocational training in Pembrokeshire, now employing over 25 staff and delivering training in most of the county's senior schools, providing provision for Junior Schools children, for adults and older people in community venues throughout Pembrokeshire.

Green Links CIC has successfully competed for contracts with Pembroke School and the European funded Workways, Engage, Coastal, Engagement Gateway, Springboard, CAN and Genesis Wales 2 programmes.

Many public, private and voluntary sector organisations including Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) and Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS) have supported Green Links' CIC development. F. Ciccotti (Headteacher) and the Governors of Pembroke School have been particularly supportive by providing a base for Green Links CIC on the school site.

The company's aims are to:

Provide skills training and work experience programmes for young people and adults of all abilities, including those with learning disabilities.

Provide facilities and access to learning through a safe, supportive and informative framework.

Enthuse and engage clients and volunteers, enabling them to reach their full potential through activities to develop social, educational, sports and environmental skills.
