A customer told us to read this after they left over the weekend. What a really lovely note to find

We are hiring again. Unfortunately our lovely Seren is heading back to Barry Island at the end of this month and so we are looking for a new member of bar staff to join us. We are not on a bus route so having your own car or living locally is preferable but not a necessity. Don't worry if you don't have experience as training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enjoys being in a friendly local pub. Please drop your cv in to us or email it to garyandjo22@gmail.com

User

fine voices in the Griffin last night. what a brilliant night

Gary and I would like to thank all the MZ motorcycle group that came this weekend. It was a bit of a washout which was a shame but as always it was great to have you here. Looking forward to the next one!!
Also a big thanks to the Get off your Butts motorcycle group who came up the weekend before. Again the weather was against us but you stuck it through and again we enjoyed having you here!
Two great weekends!!! Lets hope for sunshine next time!!... 😁🌞🍻

Well after the amazing success of Wales yesterday 😁😁, I have to support Gary and wish England good luck today against Italy. The match of course will be shown live here on all 4 telly's. A win for England will make it much more interesting for England v Wales next week!

User

Can't wait till later, 4 TV's to watch so we can all cheer on Wales!!

User

Indulged a little too much over Christmas? Bored of dry January? Try Skinny lager, only 89 calories per bottle but still great tasting 4% lager. Low Carb, Low Sugar & Gluten Free!

User

Happy New Year to all from the Griffin, Thanks to all who came, special thanks to Claire and George for a tremendous job on the bar. 24T's were excellent as always. Hope you all have a fantastic year!

We (myself, my wife and two boys 8 & 4) camped 2 nights (Fri & Sat) and enjoyed our visit very much. The pub had a very friendly atmosphere and was very child friendly, the beer was excellent & we enjoyed the meal we had on Sat evening very much too. The camping facilities were great; toilets & showers clean. We would definitely come back again.

User

Visited this pub for the first time today with family, very welcoming. Brilliant food and a good pint of beer. Great atmosphere. Will be back again

User

Stayed here one night with our Motorhome in their campsite while we were in the Wrexham area. Really nice friendly hosts and locals. Terrific steak and gammon meals we had, and very reasonably priced and they even accepted our order after 8 pm when the kitchen closes. Tried to get a Sunday roast lunch before we left but because it's so good and so popular, we were out of luck. A terrific site for your energetic dogs. Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

User

Stayed at the Griffin many times but this visit tops the list! A very warm welcome form Gary and Jo, very attentive hosts and run an excellent house. Made to feel at home in their very friendly bar, fabulous locals who were good company and chatty. Just what you need when escaping the humdrum. Will be back!

User

Since moving to Trevalyn we’ve been made to feel so welcome in The Griffin - even had our wedding evening do there so that’s says everything.

User

Our first return visit to an old favourite site. We can camp at the back so I can drink. The New Year bash was fun with a live band. Still with real fires and with added pub cats and coffee with cake. All the best to the landlords for 2017 :)

User

Lovely meal today for our sons birthday, staff couldn’t be any more accommodating and the food was lovely we had a nice cosy corner near the fire will defiantly be visiting again and maybe next time stay over In the camper at the caravan park there x thank you again for a lovely meal x

User

User

Great pub. Very friendly welcome from Gary and Co. and an excellent IPA to boot. Topped off with a delicious chilli put on for the pool match.

User

Great Roast Pork Dinner with all the trimmings and treacle sponge pudding with vanilla ice cream. Absolutely scrumptious. I am stuffed but I feel satisfied. Thank you Jo, I know you are busy in the kitchen. Always a pleasure to eat and drink here. The service is 1st class. I am local to the Griffin Inn, however, my rating is on my experience, not because I live local. Great ambience, Lovely to see Di again, smiley happy staff. The rhubarb & ginger Gin was gorgeous too.

Thank you xxx

If you are passing go in. You will not regret it ! xxx
