Arrangements for Hollocaust Memorial Evening tomorrow- choir children will need to be dropped off at 6.30pm tomorrow in uniform. It is free admission for adults and children. It is a very moving evening of remembrance!

A huge thank you to all the parents who support the school and have been in this week to meet the teachers for parents evening. It is really important we work together to achieve the very best for our children!

This year Nursery and Reception and year 1 and 2 will be performing songs as girls and boys however, if your child wants to be what the girls are dressing up as, and vice versa, that is absolutely fine! Details for costumes for the Christmas Concert: Nursery/Reception Boys- Stable Animals Nursery/Reception Girls- Stars Year1/2 boys- Soldiers (see details below) Year 1/2 Girls- Angels... Mrs Johnson's Class- Inn Keeper, Village person or Shepherd Mr Baker-Rhys' Class- Photographers (see details below) also year 5 children in Mrs Key's class Mrs Key's Class- Auditions Monday for parts and then scripts and costume lists given out Soldiers- plain black long sleeve t shirt and trousers/leggings (no logos, stripes etc). We will be making things for their costumes please send £1 to school. Photographers- same as the soldiers but £1.50 for accessories. If the children have selfie sticks these are needed too!!! We still need some consent forms for the trip today and a donation of £1.50. Please make sure that they are sent in today!!

Hi all- Key Stage 2 (year3,4,5&6) are off to Margam Park this morning for 'Go run for fun'. Don't forget they need a packed lunch and water bottle, ideally in a rucksack. They all have a free t shirt and bright laces to wear! We've sent the laces home but have the t shirts to change into this morning. They can wear tracksuit bottoms, leggings or shorts and please ensure they have a hoodie for after the run! Looking forward to a great day!

A very special day for our year 6 pupils today as they leave one chapter of their school life behind them and follow their next path. The children are all unique in their own ways and will be dearly missed for their own unique qualities!! Good luck to you all!

The children can bring money to school tomorrow for sweets, drinks, hotdogs, toys, footballs, tattoos, cakes and more!! It's set to be another fun last day for the children and a special day for our year 6 pupils.

Thank you to all for supporting this years summer fete! It was a fantastic day and I never thought we'd have hotter weather than last year! The biggest thank you to our PTA members! They have worked so hard planning and preparing and the fete simply couldn't have happened without you!!

Made good time getting back from West Midlands! The children will be arriving back for 8.40 p.m

Don't forget school trip for Key Stage 2 tomorrow to West Midlands Safari Park. Children need to be in school for 7.15 am for the bus to leave promptly at 7.30!! Fabulous experience for the children.

We are looking for donations of cakes for the fete and the rainbow stall. The children came home with colours! If you have anything that you think we could use please send it in!! All money that is raised will go straight back to the children.

Summer Fete this Tuesday!! Lots of fun planned for the children including bouncy castle, sled, disco, tattoos, beat the goalie, fire pit with marshmallows, sweet stalls and lots more!! Stalls for adults too!! The fete starts at 2 pm where you can buy the children out of class for £1! All welcome from the community too!
