Groomsport Playgroup have some funded morning pre-school places available for September 2018 to June 2019. These places are for children in their immediate pre-school year. There is also a breakfast club available from 8am and a lunch club until 12.30pm. There are also some places in our afternoon session for children from 2years 10months. We have officially moved to our new premises at 2 Hawe Road - formerly Plant & Play. Thank you to everyone who came along tonight and we loved all the positive feedback about all out renovations. We can’t wait to get back to work on Monday and look forward to seeing all the children 🤗

Many thanks William for cleaning all the carpets and rugs for our new premises - can’t believe how good they all look especially after all the building work and decorating we’ve been doing over the summer! They look like new rugs and carpets - even the AstroTurf on the floor looks like new 👍

Our Open Evening is on Thursday 30 August from 6pm to 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a look around our new premises. We look forward to seeing all the children who’ll be coming to us this year and those who’ve attended in the past 🤗. The ‘Aunties’ will be there to answer any queries and uniform will be available to buy or order. We all look forward to showing you our new home for Groomsport Playgroup 😀

Great news, after many years after looking, Groomsport Playgroup have now got permanent premises. We will be moving to the premises previously used by Plant and Play who will be becoming a mobile business from July. To enable the move, we will need to do lots of fundraising as a lot of work needs to be done to bring it up to the standard for Social Services. We will be having a pub quiz on Friday 1st June in the Groomsport Inn, Tickets £5 available from Playgroup, lots of prizes to be won - everyone welcome 🤗The move will hopefully happen over summer or halloween. Once the work is completed we will be having an Open Day for everyone to come and see our new ‘home’ for Playgroup 👍

If your child has not received a pre-school place please feel free to pop into our Playgroup anytime between 9.30 and 11.30am, Monday to Friday. We have places available and will answer any questions you may have 🤗

Registration forms are now available for our Summer Scheme which will be for any children between the ages of 2years10months and 5 years. The scheme will be from 9.30am to 12noon, weeks beginning 23 and 30 July. Cost £60 for 1 week, £110 for 2 weeks. There is a reduction for siblings. As usual the children will be having two fun packed weeks hopefully outside in the garden the whole time 😃 If you need anymore information you can message me here or contact me on 07891402685👍

If you’ve missed our Open Evening and are interested in a place in Groomsport Playgroup, please feel free to pop in with your child for a look around and to get a registration form. The best time to call is between 9.30am and 11.30am, Mon to Thurs, as we usually have an extra member of staff about then who can show you around and answer any questions 🤗

Our Open Night will be on Monday 4th December from 6.30 to 7.30pm. There will be information and forms available for funded and paying places for 2018. Please feel free to come along with your child 😃

This place really did give my brother the best start to his education, the staff are the best and my brother always has fond memories.... Really would recommend this play group to anyone

My daughter attended Groomsport Playgroup many years ago and had a wonderful 2 years in this caring and funfilled environment. The feedback was incredible with wriiten reports in Ellie's daily life at playgroup and beautiful garden outside that the children played in on good days! Would highly recommend Heather and staff - Ellie is leaving Primary this year and still has wonderful memories of Groomsport and still has her wee chum from there as well!
