Staff were very friendly and helpful, food of a high standard.
Stayed one night and had an excellent evening meal & daytime coffees as well as a nice room, but the breakfast bacon & sausages were over cooked, poor quality and not enjoyed. The toast was great.
Room 8, pleasant and easy ground floor access. Breakfast ok. There was no muesli or bran flakes. The croissants basket remained unfilled and empty. Everything had to be requested and was not readily available. I felt dissapointed.
Not happy with cleanliness of dining room, floor sticky, bar and table sticky. Room disappointing compared to advert. Sorry guys there is a lot of room for improvement.
Friendly , lovely atmosphere and dog friendly...visited again for a special family gathering food took nearly 2 hrs to arrive as order wasn't placed through to kitchen then one meal came and was wrong and another came and was cold so 2 meals sent back. By the time they came back everyone else had finished and we were left eating alone !! Highly priced service not that good - doubt very much any of us will return there to eat.
Rooms dated but clean. Breakfast good. Great location. Overall - good value for money.
