Tomorrow evening Gwyl y Cynhaeaf have their opening night in The Corn Exchange Cardigan. Meirion Wyn Jones and Joanna Jones will be exhibiting new work in the company of classical guitarist Rhisiart Arwel. Starts at 7pm. Tickets are £8 from Awen Teifi.

An evening of Rock and Roll and Indie music with some classic rock tunes from local covers band BACKTRAX. With DJ Support of classic rock music.
Backtrax have been performing across West Wales (and further afield!) since 2005. For a band of four, they make a BIG noise with a set list that will get you dancing the night away! Therapies 4 Services will be hosting a fundraising Coffee Morning on Wednesday 10 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day. Show your support by calling in for a cuppa.
NEW TERM- Ballroom and Latin Dance Class. Julian is back to teach the class and it will run every Thursday 6.30pm for Beginners and 7.30pm for Improvers and Intermediates.
Julian is looking for new dancers as well as experienced dancers of ALL ages, particularly young people from age 16 upwards to participate in this class. We are also particularly looking for men who wish to learn - as there is always a shortage. Those who complete the beginners class can move up to the imp...rovers and intermediate levels in their own time.
Ballroom and Latin dancing is Partner Dancing, but don't worry if you don't have a dance partner, we will partner you up with someone to start with and you can swap round if you wish. So come along and have a go. It's really good exercise for both the mind and body and more fun than going to the gym.
This is a social dancing class. We are not offering training for competition, but those who want to can be referred to another teacher for competition training and medal tests.
Wear casual clothes and if possible hard soled shoes. Price is £6 per person per lesson and you can stay on till 9.30pm and practice what you've learnt.
Julian is offering a FREE taster session for anyone trying this class for the first time.... so there's nothing to lose...... apart from a few pounds.😉
Dances will include: Slow Waltz, Social, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive, Viennese Waltz, and Salsa.

It's already that time of year - next week we welcome back Julie's Dru Yoga after the summer break. Dru Yoga is a holistic style of yoga suitable for all. Stretch, breathe, relax, rejuvenate. Beginners welcome! Every Tuesday evening from 7.15pm until 8.45pm.

Ran a Workshop in the Great Hall, Cardigan Guild Hall this morning. What a great venue! Lauren and colleagues had set things up perfectly and feedback on location from attendees was 100% positive. Also, buffet provided by local supplier was great value and delicious.
Well worth considering by anyone looking to run all day meetings/workshops!

Me and my husband had our civil ceremony here in 2013! Lovely venue and it was great to be able to use the courtyard in order to use a horse and cart and for our guests to be able to mingle! All the staff were extremely accommodation and helpful in making our day a wonderful one, thanks
