The staff are so wonderful, friendly and incredibly dedicated to their work. The one who did my hair, Zoe, spent a great deal of time working extremely hard to make sure my hair was outstanding, and it is! I have been so happy with the dye, hair cut and finished. It is absolutely perfect! The staff are super friendly and are more than happy to give excellent advice. Would definitely recommend if you are seeking hair dye and cut!

Lovely staff but very disappointed with my hair. They did not listen to me. My hair had gone too blonde & needed toning down, there was very little difference in the blonde after they had finished.. My hair is thick & curly, I asked them to take the weight out, I told her my hair was curly & she dried it poker straight. When I tried to do it myself, it was even more bushier than before as a great chunk of length was taken off but not enough layers. They did offer to correct it but it was 5 weeks before I was able to go back due to unsociable working hours. When I was finally able to go back, I messaged them to say I didn't expect to get it done for free as I'd waited so long but asked under the circumstances if I could have a discount. I was offered 20% which is £26 off. I paid £130 last time & came here because I wanted a special treat. I also paid for a conditioning treatment which made no difference whatsoever. I never ever complain but £130 is a lot of money to come away from a salon so disappointed!

I live in London but only get ever get my hair done at Guy Christian. This time I decided to try the Brazilian keratin treatment as my hair is naturally wavy and frizzy and the humid weather gives me a top layer of wirey curls that I can't tame. My hair was washed and roughly blow dried then the treatment was painted on section by section and left for 45 minutes. A quick rinse, blow dried again and then straightened and I was done. The lovely Lowri told me not to wash my hair for 3 days which was tough as the procedure leaves it quite flat and poker straight which I'm not used to. However after washing my hair I couldn't believe it. It dried naturally into soft waves but minus all the frizzy bits. I was worried it would stay poker straight but my natural wave is still there just in a sleeker, more manageable form. The humidity no longer effects it and I'll save a fortune on oils and serums trying to calm it down. I'd recommend it highly and I'll definitely have it done again once it wears off (2-3 months). Am thrilled!

The Bay is my favourite out of all of the Guy christian salons, although I love them all! I have moved to London and still can't find a salon that comes up anywhere near the service you get at GC! Please can you open a salon in London soon?!!! so that I don't have to drive all the way back to wales to get my hair done!!!....Pretty please!!!! xxxx
