Gwaun Valley Brewery

We visited Guan Valley Brewery after a blustery walk in the local mountains , we were made welcome straight away and were given an insight into the different ales brewed here, after a couple of samples we decided on what we wanted and sat next to the fire enjoying our beer! The lady that owns the place is not just a dab hand at making great ale but also has a talent for water colour painting, and various pictures are on show around the brewery. This place is spotless with camping available in a field literally within 50 yds outside the brewery door. We didnt camp but we took a few take away beers and a couple of copies of the watercolour pictures with us. If we are in Pembrokeshire again we will definately pop in here for another visit !

Excellent Farmhouse Ale.

Picked up a barrel of Pembrokeshire Best Bitter for a party this weekend - went down an absolute treat, perhaps we should have got two!!

We have stayed at The Brewery camp site an many occasions with our touring caravan.
The Brewery is situated in a beautiful area with breathtaking views of the valley. Outside of daily visits Friday night is also open for locals and visitors to enjoy their lovely ales, which is great if you are staying on the campsite. On Saturday night you get entertained by various local musicians with an acoustic theme, until you are ready to leave! Sarah and Len are really friendly people and it is always a pleasure to go there as a couple or when we take our grandchildren who love to see the chickens and pigs.
