One of the best places in Cardiff for live music, club nights, drinking and atmosphere. Great beer garden, top entertainment, lush people

Cozy little place with a good crowd. A little tight for a band to play, but good energy anyway.

Quite a nice place.
Very small, so on a busy night it's packed.
Been here more than a few times.
Great selection of spirits, good selection on larger and a poor selection on ale.
They have quite a large smoking area out the back equipped with heater's, seating and shelters.
The staff are really friendly.
And you'll also see a stage because on regular intervals they will have live bands playing there.

Cool environment... tonight was a hip hop night so I quite enjoyed it....

Funky and eclectic bar what more can you say! Hosts loads of nights such as funk and soul with lots of live bands. Does get very busy as it's quite a small venue but the atmosphere is great and chilled

A really friendly place to have a drink and enjoy some music. There's good outdoor space when the sun comes out, and there's live music pretty much every night.

A welcome relief from all the chains in Cardiff. Gwdihw hasn't changed much over the years but the staff are still friendly, the venue itself is great and the beers are good. Lovely little beer garden out the back too

Great little place for live music and a few beers - the outdoor area is always really nice on a summer evening.

Another place where the intangible vibes are its main strength. Relaxed, cool, alternative to the 'trendy' Cardiff identikit bars.
Keep an eye out for their gigs where they regularly book in excellent acts that wouldn't otherwise come to the city of Cardiff.

Love all the events and Music, fab little outdoor covered area but drinks could be a little more reasonable
